Pearl and Xisuma rushed to him as he said, "N-No. I'm sorry!" in pain. "Martyn, what's going on?" Xisuma asked, kneeling in front of him. The admin turned to the eyes, which had grown larger and fiercer in the short time they had their back turned.

"̇Stop. What are you doing to him?" Xisuma questioned, slowly backing away.

"Like he would want to know that damned voidwalker trying to interfere!" Xelqua growled, the distortion and echoing growing worse, "I am so done with every single one of you. You players...Listeners....Admins....all pathetic! Weaver's sake if you didn't know Pearl nor if she didn't care about any of you..." He paused cackling. "I wouldn't have hesitated to slaughter you all. Now, if you would excuse me I have students to greet and a class to teach. Attempt to contact me again before this fades and you will severely regret it, Little Listener."

Before Martyn could say anything, slowly recovering from the migraines and vertigo, the all sight became a whirlwind before fading away. Martyn coughed and rested his head on the floorboards in silence for a moment. "Martyn!" Pearl knelt beside him in concern. "What just happened?"

"I...p-pissed him....pissed him off.....royally." Martyn coughed slowly sitting up. "Now....everything is ringing....."

"I guess I didn't help...for some reason, he has a lot of disdain for me. Well....for Admins...I guess." Xisuma huffed and sat down beside Pearl. "What did he say to you?"

Martyn recounted word for word what Xelqua had said before the connections dropped, before adding, "The way he was speaking...it was distorted and echoing and it had....something far older than he would....no could be. There was so much anger and it was both in my head and right behind me."

"What do you mean 'older than he could be.' That doesn't really make sense." Pearl inquired, blinking at the thought. Xisuma answered, "He has been away in the academy after Evo for years for him, and becoming a full-fledged watcher might....have done something. Every time I looked into his code, a lot of the Watcher code that was written or being rewritten was ancient, even longer than he's been a player."

"Really?"

"Yeah. It's actually pretty cool." He nodded before holding a hand up. "Right, let's see what happened, shall we?" He looked at Martyn and pulled up the admin window, running a diagnostic on Martyn.

Pearl grabbed something for him to drink as well as a regeneration potion as Xisuma scrolled through his code for several moments. "He completely shut down your ability to connect with him, in any way, basically...he deleted your number and blocked him for a few days...possibly a week for us," Xisuma said chuckling and sighing. "He used both Admin and Watcher magics."

"What did he mean by regret it though?"

"That feeling you had would come back possibly. Worse than it. So I wouldn't try it."

"Okay then....this is gonna suck. We don't have a way to check on him now. This is very concerning."

"What about Calypso?" Pearl asked.

Martyn shook his head, "No...that isn't as reliable anymore. We can't have her get into trouble and with Grian being how he is right now...we need to be careful."

The students did not expect the heavy atmosphere as Xelqua opened the classroom doors. Despite his smile, they felt as if they were walking into a high-strung trap that was going to set off at a moment's notice.

He motioned them to take their seats, which they did, keeping their gaze away from him, listening to him walk back to his desk. His silence was even more unsettling. Krishna glanced at the others as they settled in their seats, that is until she stood. "!¡∷𝙹⎓ᒷᓭᓭ𝙹∷, ╎ᓭ ᒷ⍊ᒷ∷||ℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣ ᔑꖎ∷╎⊣⍑ℸ ̣ ? ||𝙹⚍ ᓭᒷᒷᒲ ᔑリ⊣∷||. ↸╎↸ ᓭ𝙹ᒲᒷℸ ̣ ⍑╎リ⊣ ⍑ᔑ!¡!¡ᒷリ?"
