What happened to only being with Hunt once?!

It'd been a month and we hooked up every time anyone left us alone together! What was this?!

At the moment I was going to cut class so we could go to a doctor's appointment for me and the baby but I had to sit through photography, which I usually liked but I wanted to make sure the baby was okay.

Jayne leaned over. "How are you?"

"Alright." I shrugged.

She waited for Ms. Gellar to look elsewhere before continuing. "How the B-A-B-Y?"

I snorted out a quick laugh. "Jayne, you stupid."

"I'm just saying!" She hissed. "No one's gonna know!"

"Baby isn't a hard code to crack."

She sniffed.

"The B-A-B-Y is probably fine. I have an appointment today to see."

"When?"

"During lunch. You know they take forever so I'm taking off fourth period, too."

"Good. Want us with you?"

"No thanks."

"Then how are you getting there?"

I shrugged but could feel my face heating.

She gave me a concerned look. "Friend? What are you doing with Hunter?"

"He's just taking me to my appointment. He's being a good dad. Somebody should be. Mine wasn't." I grumped.

The look intensified. "We never talk about your dad."

"And we won't now. I shouldn't have said anything."

"Frankie?!" Ms. Gellar called out.

"Yes, Ms. Gellar?" I was thankful for the interruption.

"You're being called to the front office."

"Shoot." I gathered my things as I didn't know what Principal Baker wanted.

"Please no more disappearing acts." She eyed me knowingly.

"I'm only going to see what Principal Baker needs." I promised.

She smiled, probably not believing me.

I left, making up my mind to come back sometime today no matter what. I hummed to myself as I went to the main office. I hoped it was Hunt cuz I had some nervous energy to expel but alas when I got to the office, it wasn't my secret lover but Anthony.

He was leaning against the front counter, smiling at the blushing secretary, probably telling one of his famous lies.

"What are you doing here?" I demanded.

He straightened but never lost his smile. "Frankie!"

"Your father is quite the-" The secretary gazed at him longingly. "Character."

He winked at her. "Thank you, doll face."

I sneered. His "charming" slimy ass would affect her. "Why are you here?"

"To see you."

"Why?"

"We need to talk."

"We don't need to do anything. There is no we."

The secretary became busy at my frosty tone.

"Don't be Cranky Frankie." He sighed heavily.

"Don't call me that!" I screamed.
