I got ready for the day Saturday as I thought about the night before. I didn't know what Hunt was doing last night. The first part. After looking like- hell, I didn't know! a man possessed, he was more well behaved.

I ended up having a bunch of fun. I tried not to be so competitive but it was so hard. Luckily Tia was as bad so it wasn't like I was a monster alone.

I finished getting ready and grabbed my purse.

A knock sounded at my door so I called for them to come in, hoping it wasn't Momma.

It was Livie. "Hey?"

"Hey." I was shocked she was looking so shy.

"Are you leaving?"

"Yeah. I'll only be gone for two hours."

She nodded as she chewed on her lips.

"What's wrong, Livie?"

"You and Momma are fighting."

"Don't worry. Nobody's mad at you or Johnny or Nae."

She frowned. "But Momma's mad at you."

"I'll live." I promised. "But when I come back, we're going to the movies."

She brightened. "Really?"

"Yeah. Go find something we'll all want to watch and wait for me to come back."

"Okay." The fourteen year old hugged me before racing out.

I grabbed my phone and headphones so I could blast Control by Bryce Savage, the song from last night that Candy liked. I grabbed a jacket and left my room and the house.

I took the bus to a community center and went to sit down, not liking their coffee nor doughnuts at all. It took about ten minutes for the meeting to begin.

I left my meeting and went straight home. My (younger) siblings were in the living room, watching TV. "Hey!"

Nae got up and ran to me. She hugged me tightly. "You're home!"

"Yeah." I danced with her.

"We go to the movies now?" She asked hopefully.

I smiled. "Yeah, we're going to the movies now. Are y'all ready?"

Johnny nodded as he stood up. "Yeah. Momma's still at work."

"Okay." I was glad. "Get your stuff and let's go." I found paper and wrote Momma a letter so she wouldn't worry.

When done, the four of us left the house and went to the nearest bus-stop to go to the movies. Since it was around noon, we could see movies at a discount and that new Disney movie was out so we saw that.

Johnny and Nae liked it but I could tell Livie only watched it because the little kids did.

I couldn't help but to check out. All I could think about Hunt pressing close to me last night. I didn't know why but I wanted to know where he would go and hoped he would kiss me but that was weird. I had a boyfriend, he was still in love with his ex and we were too different.

I didn't even see Hunt in that way but for some odd reason, I dreamt of his lips. Maybe it was because we were in the play together? We had two weeks until opening and I was mostly off book but what if it was like all those Hollywood bullshit and I was falling for him because we played romantic partners in a production?

Yikes...

I had to keep my head. All Hunt and I could ever be was friends. I couldn't forget that. I had a plan for my life and a pair of cobalt blues and fiery lips wouldn't torpedo it.
