RAI'S POV

"Do you think there's gonna be aliens floating around?" Lex asked the hundredth space question that day.

"I mean, I've always wanted to meet aliens but now that I think about it.." she continued probably with the same breath.

"No Lex, we are definitely not going to meet aliens in our space ship." I said letting out a chuckle.

"What types of clothes should I even pack? Is it cold up there?" Lex continued asking and I just continued packing silently enjoying her lot of questions.

"Tinku's company were involved in the space business so she was easily able to get us to space which meant the world for me as I was an astronomy geek.

We would be able to go and come back right before the new year's ball.

"Hey stargazer, are you ready to see the stars right from their habitat?" Liam asked cheerfully lifting me up bridal style.

"Oh that's for sure, can't wait!" I said with excitement as we made our way to the limo.

"Thankyou so much Tinku, may the astronomy gods bless you with more and more designer outfits that I know you love." I told Tinku with a grin getting back down from Liam's arms.

"My pleasure, I hope all of them are dolce and Gabbana," she stated with a smile taking a very poised seat on the limo.

We drove to the space station for about fifteen minutes.

I felt excited when I finally lay my eyes on a rocket. One that would finally take me to my dreams, where my heart truly lies.

I watched as astronauts and astronomers did their work and I was amazed knowing that in just a few years I would be there.

"Hello your highnesses, I'm your guide and I will be with you on the ship. You will be using the Galatian spaceship and you will meet your pilot in there." Said a very smiley man leading us to our spaceship.

We all got into space suits and made our way to the ship.

When I had that suit on, I felt alive, as if my soul mate was astronomy. I started to believe I was meant for the stars and moons, not earth.

I watched as people counted for the ship's take off.

"Five, four, three, two..."

And just like that, we were off the ground.
I could feel the fire burning below us, the fire that was able to lift us up into the atmosphere.

I saw earth from a different perspective, it was absolutely gorgeous. Then I felt light.

Right then I knew we were no longer on earth. I looked out the window to find the most breathtaking view.

It was so much better than the pictures. There were more stars and I could see moons and other planets from my seat.

I don't know why, but I shed a tear. I undid my seat belt and immediately started floating around.

Best feeling in the world.

"Hey Lex, have you found your alien brothers yet?" I questioned with a smile looking at Lex.

"Not yet, but I think I'm fine with my one baby brother." She replied ruffling Liam's hair.

"For goodness sake, you are only older by three seconds," Liam said hitting her shoulder.

"Catch me if you can baby brother!" Lex shouted before ruffling his hair and starting to run which was merely impossible as there was no gravity.

We all just enjoyed them struggling to catch each other in zero gravity.

"Are you guys ready! Make sure you are tethered or you'll get lost in space forever, you might finally meet those aliens Lex." I said looking at Lex with a grin.

We were going space walking which was definitely a dream of mine.

"Oh, and don't forget your helmets or the waves will scorch you." I added before putting my helmet on and opening the door.

I let go and started floating. It was a beautiful feeling. I let go of everything and just felt at peace.

I watched as my friends floated around. We all played a game of catch which was really hard because of the gravity situation but that just made it better.

We ate space food as we watched  Csan force out tears to see what would happen to them in zero gravity.

Before we went to sleep, I sent my mum a video message which I had always wanted to do.

When we woke up we found ourselves at the International Space Station (ISS)

We explored for a bit and saw astronauts working. Some told us they had been up there for months.

After the visit, it was finally time to go back to earth.

I was not ready but I had to. Space was my safe place but right then I realized that earth was was also a part of me.

The universe is a part of me.
