The second day of Life Magic training party time haha
The next morning I woke up in a comfy bed.
Ugh I don't want to move and go train...
As soon as I thought that though someone pounded on the door.
"Alina! Time to get up!" I groaned but pushed the blankets off of me and jumped down to the floor. I looked down to see I was in fluffy white pajamas.
When did I change? Come to think of it I don't remember coming to my room last night...
"Alina!" Willow's annoyed voice came once again.
"Just a second I have to change!" I called back and quickly grabbed a green dress.
After I had finished changing, fixed my hair and made sure I looked presentable I opened the bedroom door. Willow looked at me and smiled.
"That dress is so pretty on you." I gave a shy smile.
"Thanks." I closed the door behind me and we headed downstairs. "By the way Willow, was I really that tired that I don't remember coming up here and changing?" I asked.
She tried to hide a laugh.
"What happened?!" I said worried.
"You passed out when you got to the dining room, Igneel and Lulu brought you up her and Lulu changed you into pajamas." I thought of Igneel carrying me up the stairs and into my room.
"Wait! DID THAT PERVERT WATCH LULU UNDRESS ME?!!!!" I yelled not caring if I woke anyone up.
"That I don't know. You'll have to ask him when you see him later." I thought about the possibilities and just the thought of that made my face go red.
We walked outside and I saw Igneel, Scarlet and Lulu playing with some young dragons. I stopped, smiling at Igneel, who groaned as they all climbed on top of him.
"Hey Igneel!" He looked up and smiled.
"Have fun training today!" He called back and I saw all the kids start chanting something that was just out of my dragon slayer earshot.
"We should get moving." Willow said and I nodded following her this time to the spring from yesterday.
"You're late." My grandmother said getting up from her place on a rock.
"My apologizes." I said bowing slightly.
"It's fine, let's get started." I smiled.
We spent an hour or so going over the proper incantation for the revival spells, one was for bringing back animals, the other for humans.
"Here's a dead bunny, bring it back." I gulped and knelt down next to the bunny.
"From the Earth to the Sky, the winds of the Gods blow! Heal this creature of Earth with your mighty winds! Healing Winds!" A green wind swirled around the bunny and a light glow appeared around the furry creature.
I waited for the wind to die down and looked down at the now blinking bunny. It sat up and hopped into my lap.
"That was a well done resurrection." My grandmother said and smiled.
"Thank you." She then turned and called forth someone named Lucas.
"Lucas you know what to do." I watched in horror as he stabbed himself in the heart.
"No!!!" I screamed and rushed towards him, but my grandmother grabbed me holding me against her.
"If you want to successfully revive him then he has to die." I shivered.
"This is taking it too far!" I yelled.
"Quiet!" That's when I saw Lucas give one more shaggy breath and then collapse going limp.
I dropped down next to him and looked at his bleeding chest.
"Go ahead and revive him." She said lightly.
I wiped my tears away and stood up. A green magic circle appeared underneath me as light swirled around my hands above my head.
"From Earth to Sky, Bring this soul back from death's grasp! Resurrection!" I floated a little off the ground and the light glowed around Lucas.
He twitched and I saw him sit up gasping for breath.
"Well done Alina. Shall we try that again?" I turned on her finally unable to hold back my anger.
"Is this some kind of joke for you!? You just let a man stab himself in the heart for your sick training! You've been working me like a dog and I know that there's not a lot of time, but killing a man that's going too far!" I yelled and stormed away.
"Where do you think you're going?" I didn't stop.
"Away from you! I think there's a good reason my mom never told us about you!" I felt the wind blow in front of me and then I was on the ground.
"Be careful with your words." My grandmother was glaring down at me in a dragon form. I gasped terrified of her.
"I-I'm sorry..." I muttered and looked away from her unable to keep my composure with her.
"Alina..." She changed back and got off of me. "I'm sorry, I let me temper get the better of me. I keep forgetting you're young, you're not comfortable with the sight of death." I shivered and found a way to my feet.
"I-I... I need to go get some sleep..." I muttered and walked past her.
"Alina, you did well today. I won't ask you to revive anything else. Tomorrow you'll learn how to cure physical ailments." I nodded and walked back towards the castle thinking about Lucas stabbing himself.
Who is that loyal that they'd stab them-self on someone's request?!
"Hey Alina!" I looked at Igneel who got up from the kids who all awed with sadness.
"Igneel..." He came to my side and I buried my face into his chest.
"Whoa! Alina, what's wrong?" He asked hugging me.
"I-I..." All I could see was Lucas stabbing himself. I shook and started crying.
Igneel picked me up and carried me over to the little dragons.
"Hey Miss? Why are you crying?" A little girl with blonde hair asked.
"I'm sad..." She hugged me, followed by all the other kids tackling me. I smiled a little and laughed as Igneel started tickling me with their help.
"Stop! Igneel!" I said between laughs.
"Feeling better?" He asked.
"Yes!!!" I said laughing. He stopped and gently pulled me into him.
"Why don't we go get you some dinner and you tell me what happened?" I nodded and he helped me up.
We walked side by side towards the castle.
Silver's POV
I watched Igneel and Alina walk towards the castle side by side. I couldn't stop replaying when I slapped her.
I wish I could take it all back... I wish I had told her how I felt a long time ago...
Since the first day I met her she was the only one I wanted to be around.
Saving her from that river was the start of our friendship, but for years I wanted it to be so much more than that.
People told me she liked me, but I shrugged it off. I had too much pride to admit I liked her.
Now she's with Igneel and hates me...
Why did I have to be so stupid...?
Why couldn't I have just admitted that she's all I ever wanted...?
