Chapter 28: S-Class Mission

So Alina decides to go on an S-Class mission with Ariana and Jake, how do you think this is going to go?

The next day I walked into the guildhall to see Ariana and Jake pacing impatiently.

"Hey you guys what's up?" They both stopped and looked at me happily.

"Great you're finally here! Let's go!" I was so confused.

"Wait what? Go where?" Ariana laughed.

"Well we were going to go on an S-Class mission and wanted to know if you wanted to come with." I smiled brightly.

"Yessss! Let's go!" They both smiled and we started walking towards the door.

Igneel walked in with his dad and sister.

"Hey Alina, where are the three of you heading?" He asked.

"They asked me to go on an S-Class mission." His jaw dropped.

"What?! That's no fair!" I giggled and waved back at him as we walked out.

"Don't worry I'm sure you'll get to go on an S-Class mission sooner or later. See you in a few days!" I followed the Redfox twins to the train station.

"You ready for your first S-Class mission?" Ariana asked.

"For sure!"

*one very long train ride later*

"Ugh trains suck..." Jake said trying not to be sick as we got off the train.

"Only for you." I said laughing.

"So we have to take out some dark guild members who have been killing off the children of this town." I shivered.

"What kind of people would do such a thing?" Jake sighed.

"People who don't know any better." We walked around for a while not seeing anyone around.

"I wonder where all the people are?" I asked in a low voice feeling like we were being watched.

"Do you both have that feeling of being watched too?" Ariana asked quietly.

"Yeah..." Jake said and I nodded lightly.

That's when a black orb shot down in front of us.

"Well, well looks like some Fairy Tail wizards have come to play." I looked up at the voice and realized that this was Dragon's Claw.

"Great it's you guys again..." I said rolling my eyes.

"I wouldn't roll my eyes if I were you cupcake, this time we'll kill you." A bunch of people appeared from the shadows and grinned.

"Time for you little wizards to die." We jumped up as they shot their black orbs at us.

"Well this is going to be difficult." Ariana said.

"Well we might as well get started!" I said letting light appear in my hands. "Holy Dragon Ray!" Rays of light rained down over all the dark guild members. I landed lightly and looked around as more guild members surrounded me.

"What are you going to do now Fairy Tail pest?" I giggled.

"Aw are you trying to flirt with me now? Here's a tip-" I gathered light in my mouth. "Buy me dinner first! Holy Dragon Roar!" The light swirled around hitting all of them.

I wiped my mouth and grinned.

"Too easy."

"Don't be so cocky little dragon slayer." I turned and saw a man with black hair and red eyes.

"Or what?" I asked.

"Or you'll regret it." I laughed and backed away a step.

"Then bring it!" He smirked.

"I don't have to, I already have you trapped." I was about to rush him when I felt my feet stuck in their place. I looked down and shadows were pulling me down into the ground.

"What the hell?!" I yelled.

"Alina!!!" I looked back up when I heard Jake's scream and saw a black spear pierce through my chest.

"Ug..hh..." I reached up and touched the wound on my chest and saw blood on my hand.

"I told you not to be cocky." I started falling back as someone blasted the man away. My feet were released from the shadows and Jake caught me before I could hit the ground.

"Alina! Stay with us!" Ariana rushed to my side.

"Your Life Magic, use it!" I looked down at the wound.

"Life... Magic... cant... the wounds... too... deep..." I got out through shaggy breaths.

I didn't think this was how I was going to die...

"Alina, please don't die!" Ariana was crying, I'd never seen her cry before.

"I... don't really... feel... anymore... pain..." I said coughing a little.

"Jake we have to do something!" She said to him in a panic.

"There's nothing we can do... she's too far gone already..." I could see a bright light (I know very cheesy).

"Please... tell everyone... to not be... sad... I'm happy... that... I get to die... surrounded by my friends... thank you... for everything... tell Igneel... I'm... sorry..." My body gave in and I surrendered to the light.
