Igneel again haha

Igneel's POV

As I arrived at her house I felt an ache in my chest. Telling her that Silver was dating Lyon's daughter behind her back was going to crush her.

"Here goes nothing." I knocked on the front door, a few seconds later Phoenix answered the door.

"Hey Igneel." He said with a smile.

"Hey is Alina here?" He nodded and signaled for me to come in. I walked inside and she was sitting on the couch reading a book.

"Hey Igneel!" She said brightly as I walked over to her.

"Hey Alina..." I said quietly.

"What's wrong?" She asked worried and put her book down.

"Look can we talk, it's really important." She nodded and got up.

"Let's go for a walk." I followed her outside and as we headed towards the riverside I grabbed her arm.

"Alina... what I'm going to tell you is going to be hard for you to accept but I promise you what I tell you is the truth." She seemed to know something was seriously off because I couldn't look her in the eyes.

"What's going on? You can't even look me in the eyes." I walked over to a rock and sat down on it, putting my face in my hands.

"Alina... I caught Silver kissing Skylar Vastia... he called you a fling and said he loved her not you..." I heard the first of her sobs.

"No... that's not..." I got up and walked over to her grabbing her hands.

"I'm telling you the truth, Alina. He told me you were messed up..." I said looking her in the eyes. They were starting to get misty and I could tell she was trying to keep it together.

"Because of what happened with my uncle right?" She asked looking down at her feet.

"Yeah..." She tried to back away, but I grabbed her and held her against me.

"Let me go!" She yelled, struggling to get out of my tight grip.

"No, I won't let you run off to god knows where to be sad and alone. I told you I'm not leaving you alone." She kept struggling until finally she just gave in and cried into my shoulder. I held her tightly and then felt my heart start beating faster.

What's the matter with me? Why do I feel so happy that she's in my arms?

"Thank you for telling me Igneel." She muttered into my shoulder.

"I never want to see you cry, but I couldn't just not tell you this and let you go on dating someone who doesn't care about you." I heard footsteps rushing towards us and I knew before I heard the voice who it was.

"Alina, don't listen to him!" I turned and pushed Alina behind me.

"Back off you Ice Freak!" I yelled as Silver stopped a few feet from us.

"Or what FlameBrain!?" We started walking towards each other.

"I thought I told you if you came near either of us again I would kill you!" I said flames appearing in my hands.

"I don't care what you say, that's still my girlfriend you're trying to seduce!" He yelled, people were starting to stop and stare.

"Oh really? Then you making out with Skylar counts as her still being your girlfriend?" Silver looked past me.

"Alina it was a one time thing." She gasped and I looked back to see her drop to her knees.

"I believe Igneel! He never would lie to me!" She yelled hugging herself to keep from breaking entirely.

"Silver! Igneel!" Scarlet said coming towards us.

"Scarlet you stay back, I need to teach this Ice Princess what happens when you make my friends cry." I jumped up into the air and put my hand into a fist. "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

Silver jumped up and ice swirled around his hand.

"Ice-Make Hammer!" I punched the ice hammer and it shattered to pieces as I glared at him.

"You don't deserve someone like Alina. You deserve someone who has a heart as cold as yours!" I punched him down into the ground.

"And you think you deserve her?! Your heart is just a burning pit of anger!" I laughed and then went to stand over him.

"At least I don't go around breaking sweet, kind, beautiful, innocent girl's hearts." I said before turning and walking away.

"Igneel?" I looked at Alina and she had a small smile on her face even though tears were still streaming down her cheeks.

"Yeah?" She hugged me gently.

"Thank you for standing up for me." I touched her cheeks wiping the tears away.

"No one makes my friends cry, no one."
