There's probably many people this could apply to in this story haha

It's been a three months since we beat Red Moon, everything was slowly getting back to normal.

We helped rebuild Magnolia and the magic council before we all settled back into normal guild routine.

Silver and I had started dating the day after the Red Moon battle and so far everything was going great.

"Hey Alina?" I heard Phoenix call from downstairs. Today we had a day off so I had decided to stay home and get some rest.

"Yeah?" I called back.

"Silver is here!" I felt a warmth rise in my cheeks.

"Tell him to come up!" I looked down at my pajamas, but didn't bothering changing I was fine with this.

"Hey beautiful." I giggled as he walked in, his shirt was thrown on to the floor within seconds as he sat down on the bed across from me.

"How is your day off going?" I asked grabbing his hand.

"Even better now that I get to see you." I felt my face heat up even more.

"I-I..." He cut me off by kissing me gently and then more forcefully.

"Excuse me?" We both broke apart as my brother knocked and looked between the two of us.

"Um sorry, is there something you need?" I asked trying to calm down my face.

"Well I was going to ask if you wanted to go walk around town with Ash and I but clearly you'd rather sit here and make out with your boyfriend." I thought for a second he was going to crack a smile and laugh, but when he didn't I knew why.

"Phoenix, it's been 7 years..." I said lightly looking him in the eyes.

"Do you think I care? But whatever, you'll go after any guy who will give you attention." He turned and left. I felt like someone had just ripped my chest open.

"Alina, what's up with Phoenix? He's never talked to you like that..." I felt the tears fall down my face.

"It's about our uncle... he passed away seven years ago, but over those seven years he abused me and did... unspeakable things... I never liked talking about it so I didn't. He always gets like this when the anniversary of his death comes around." I got up and walked to the mirror.

I remembered those days like they were yesterday.

*flashback*

"Alina, why do you have those bruises?" Phoenix asked me gently.

"I told you I fell." He touched my shoulders lightly.

"Alina I know that's not the truth now tell me where you got them." This time more sternly.

"Phoenix... I cant... he told me if I did..." I started crying.

"Who did this to you?" He asked pulling me into him.

"Uncle Rogue (yes I'm making Rogue the bad guy sorry for any Rogue fans, I truly do love him as a character, but in this story this is how it is going to be)..."

*flashback over*

"Alina, are you going to be alright?" Silver asked coming up behind me.

"Yeah, I'm use to this... he'll get over it in a few days, but until then I'd like you to keep your distance..." I said looking at him in the mirror.

"You don't have to give in to him you know." I turned and looked at him.

"It's not that, I have a very hard time being around guys when this time comes around so this is more of for me than Phoenix." He kissed my lips lightly.

"Alright for you..." He went and grabbed his shirt off the floor.

"I'll see you in a few days." I said quietly.

"Yeah, and don't worry I'm not mad at all. I get it we all have a few secrets." He left right after that and I went back to my bed collapsing.

This is going to be a long couple of days...
