I was doing my best to match Red Moon's power, while my friends all fought the demons and servants of Red Moon.
"You've definitely gotten stronger my dear Alina, but do you think you can beat me?" I clenched my fists and healed my wounds.
"I'll do whatever it takes to beat you!" I said and started gathering light to create my Holy Life Dragon Roar.
"Then you shall perish!" She shot a black sword towards me, I couldn't move because of my gathering light.
"Alina! Watch out!!" Silver yelled rushing towards me. He was going to jump in front of it.
My future self had told me he died protecting me, Silver was going to die!
A flash of black appeared in front of me and I froze. The light roar flew into the ceiling as I watched my future self fall to the ground.
"No!!!" I bent down next to her and held her in my arms.
"It's weird... dying with myself by my side... But I know that now you'll be save, beat Red Moon and save the future. Live a better life..." She coughed harshly.
"Don't die! Please!" I screamed begging for her not to go.
"Alina don't worry as long as you live I won't disappear forever, a new future will be born and I'll get to live there with all of our friends." Happy came over with Ash. They were both crying just like me.
"Alina!" I touched my future self' cheek and her eyes went back to the way they use to be. She gasped.
"I thought you deserved to see your friends one last time." I said quietly. She touched my cheek and then looked at Ash and Happy.
"Don't either of you be sad, I'm not from this world... the me here... will live on..." Ash grabbed her hand.
"I don't care what anyone says, Alina is Alina. You're my friend, you saved my life! So of course I'm going to be sad!" I cried harshly as she smiled up at me one last time.
"Please protect... the future... thank... you for... everything-" She cut off and went limp in my arms.
My body was cold, I felt like a part of me had died with her...
"Isn't that sad. Oh well time to get rid of you as well." Red Moon said.
"No one is taking Alina's future away!!!" Igneel and Silver yelled.
I didn't look up as my future self started disappearing into a yellow light.
"What's happening?!" I said shocked.
"She's disappearing..." Ash said lightly.
"I'm sure there's a nice heaven out there for her." Happy said quietly looking at the ground.
Thank you, you may be me, but I considered you a friend. You protected me and I'm grateful for that. You gave your life up for the guild you loved and the family you loved, rest in peace now...
