So flashbacks of the past are going to come in this chapter and probably next chapter too... May be graphic so for anyone who doesn't want to see that DONT READ!
The more I sat in my room staring up at the ceiling the more the past came back to haunt me.
*flashback*
It was raining outside, but the water falling from the sky didn't bother me. What bothered me was the man standing in front of me smiling down at me in a creepy way.
"Alina, come on you'll catch a cold if you stay out here much longer." I backed away a step.
"But Uncle Rogue, I-"
"That's enough! Let's go!" He grabbed my arm tightly and yanked me into his house. This was when I went to visit my dad, he always assumed my uncle was taking me out to dinner or something.
He was wrong...
"Go to the bedroom now!" He said pushing me towards the room.
"But-" He slapped me across the face.
"GO!" I went to the bedroom and sat waiting for the endless torture to begin.
"Please make it go away... please..." I muttered quietly.
"I heard that!" He said storming into the room. He pinned me down on the bed and I couldn't look him in the eyes without wanting to cry.
"Please, stop..." I cried.
"Shut up, you'll do as I say!" I started screaming as the pain and suffering started.
*flashback over*
I started crying, burying my head into one of my pillows. That went on for a year before my brother finally found out.
It was then that he told my dad who pretty much tried to kill my uncle. Phoenix has been very overprotective of me since then.
However when this time of year comes around he gets very upset, I feel like it's more of at himself than me, but he likes to lash out at me because of it.
"Alina?" I heard my mom's voice. I looked up and gave her a small smile as I wiped my tears away.
"I'm sorry, yes?" She walked in and sat down next to me.
"Phoenix said something didn't he?" I nodded and put my head in her lap.
"I'm use to it, but I didn't want to have to explain to Silver yet about it... but now that it's on my mind I'm remembering everything... it hurts..." I said crying again as she stroked my hair.
"Alina... why don't we go talk to Mira and the other girls." I was about to say no when she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room after her.
Downstairs was all the girls in the guild.
"Hey Alina, are you feeling alright?" Scarlet asked.
"I'm f-"
"Don't lie." My mother said.
"I'm..." I trailed off as I felt tears coming again. Scarlet got up and walked over.
"What's going on? Did something happen between you and Silver?" I shook my head.
"Mom... I can't..." I muttered turning to go back to my room.
"Alina, you can't hide it forever. Your friends deserve to know." I sighed but sat down in a chair.
"Seven years ago my uncle died... as most of you know. But what no one besides Laxus, Mira, my mom, dad and Phoenix know is that my uncle abused me and did... bad things to me for a year..." I said looking down at my feet.
"Is that why you had all those bruises?" Scarlet asked shocked.
"Yes..." I felt arms wrap around me. I looked up and saw all the girls had gotten up to hug me.
"We're here for you, Alina. Don't worry." Ariana said.
"What did I tell you about keeping everything bottled up inside?" Scarlet said sternly and I laughed quietly.
"I'm sorry, I know it's not good for me. I just didn't want you to think any differently of me."
"We never would." Melody said.
I loved that my friends would always have my back and never think differently of me. It just goes to show you how great a family I have at Fairy Tail.
