This story is based on time travel, specifically the butterfly effect. It also uses the hanahaki trope. If you're newer to fanfic or just need a reminder, hanahaki is a rare disease that infests your lungs with flowers. It is acquired when you have strong feelings of unrequited love. There are two ways to get rid of it: Admitting your feelings and having them be reciprocated, or having a surgery done to take the flowers out of your lungs, the catch being that you can never love that person or love in general again.
This book is NOT about the real people, just the characters.
Some ships you will see in this book are Etho/Bdubs and Etho/Joel
There might be some smaller background ships but as of now there are not.
