Trouble

I get home and go up to my room to take a nap. I wake up a few hours later to my sister busting in my room.
Zaiya: y/n!!!! You got in a fight at school are you crazy??????? Your in so much trouble just warning you dads getting the groceries out of the car but he's maddddddd
"Oh shit" I say rubbing my forehead
Zaiya: yeah oh shit but why did you get in a fight what happened?
"Well it's not actually a long story but I don't feel like telling you rn I'll tell you after I get punished"
Zaiya nods her head and looks at the front door.
Zaiya: good luck!
She says then she bolts to her room
Dad: Y/N GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW
I take a deep sigh and go down stairs.
I get down stairs and see my dad sitting at the table I could tell he was very angry.
Dad: so you got into a fight then skipped school?!?!
Dad: the whole point of moving schools was to hopefully fix your behavior y/n
At this point he didn't seem and angry anymore just disappointed. I just look at the floor.
Dad: well the school called me you and other girl have detention tomorrow
I just nod my head.
Dad: dont let this happen again y/n
"It won't I promise I'm sorry"
My dad nods his head
Dad: go to your room I'm gonna start on Dinner oh and after dinner I'm gonna need you to go pick up your sister from her friends house
"You mean like walk"
Dad: yup
"But why can't Roman or Zaiya do it they can drive?!?"
Dad: your being punished and they only live a block away don't be dramatic
"Ughhhh fineeee"
I go upstairs to my room a lay on my bed before I know if I doze off.
Dad: Y/N DINNERS READY
my dad shouts from downstairs. I rub my eyes and go downstairs and sit at the table.
I get my food and sit down.
Roman: can y/n tell us what happened or is that like a forbidden topic?
I look at my dad.
Dad: ehh why not go ahead.
Roman and Zaiya look at me eager to hear what happened.
"Well I was walking with my friend to class and this girl walked past and bumped into me and didn't even acknowledge what she did to I said "scuse you" and then we were like kinda arguing then the bell rang to she said she'll find me at lunch but she didn't actually find me I found her and then yk we fought and stuff yeah"
My dad makes a disappointed face a shakes his head.
Roman: well did you win?
"Well... yeah"
Zaiya: niceeee
She says giving me a high-five. I finish my food I go wash my dishes then walk back to the table.
"Well imma go get Alaya now be back soon"
Dad: ok bye be safe
I get my jacket and put my shoes on and walk out the door the walk there felt pretty fast. I had never been to Mayas house before but my dad told me the address so I found it pretty easy. I walk up to the door and knock on it I hear a voice walking up to the door "yes mom I'm getting it"
The door opens and it's shuji.
Shuji: yooo y/n what's up!
He says as he gives me a fist bump.
"I'm just here to pick up Alaya"
Shuji: oh ok they're in the living room they're making us watch a dance routine they made you can come in.
"Ok thanks" I walk inside and take my shoes off. Shuji leads me to the living room where I see Anna Maya and Alaya practicing some weird dance routine. Alaya sees me.
Alaya: n/n! You can watch our dance!
"Yeah but dad waiting for us so make it quick ok" I say.
Shuji: come sit down
I walk to the couch where Mayas mom and dad are sitting. I sit next to shuji.
Maya: ok are y'all ready
She whispers to Anna and Alaya.
Anna: yeah
Alaya: yes
Maya: ok Anna go start the music
Anna runs over and turns on the music and runs back and gets into her position. They start doing some weird dance and I can't help but cringe I glance at shuji and he's got the same face. He looks at me and we had to hold in our laugh. They finish their dance we we all clap.
"Oh yeah that was like so amazing but we gotta go Alaya I get up and say bye to everyone quickly Maya Anna and Alaya are in a group hug.
"Ok Alaya come on I say walking towards the door until I notice she isn't following and is still in the group hug.
"Ughhh" I walk back and grab alayas wrist and drag her to the door. We put our shoes on and start walking home.
Alaya: you like totally love shuji don't you
I chuckle
"No"
Alaya: well that's kinda sad cuz he definitely loves you
"Hmm why do you say that"
Alaya: I mean idk he's always asking about you
"Well yeah cuz we're friends"
Alaya: I don't knooowwwww seems like love to me
I roll my eyes
"Whatever Alaya" I say laughing a little bit. We get home and walk inside everyone's in the living room watching tv.
"We're home!"
Dad: alright
My dad says from the living room. I go to my room and take a shower and change.
By the time I'm ready for bed everyone has already gone to bed I go downstairs to find a snack I get some ice cream and sit at the table while I eat. I finish eating and go back up stairs and get in bed. I sight knowing tomorrow I have detention. But soon I start falling asleep. I'm soon woken up by my phone ringing.
"Ughhh" I pick up the phone
"Hello?" I say in a unintentionally rude voice.
???: damn what's with attitude
I recognize the voice.
"Shuji?"
Shuji: yeah where you sleeping or something?
"Yeah I was but it's ok how do you have my number?"
Shuji: Alaya gave it to me out of nowhere
"Omg ofc she did" I say chucking.
Shuji: what do you mean?
"Oh she like says me and you love each other and stuff and blah blah blah and she says you have a crush on me and stuff" I say sighing.
Shuji: oh... tha- that's pretty funny he says laughing kinda awkwardly. Don't get me wrong I definitely think shuji is cute like honestly how could you not but I don't like him like that.
"So what's up why'd you call?"
Shuji: oh idk why not yk
"Yeah I get it"
I say laughing a little bit.
"Omg I have detention tomorrowwwwww"
Shuji: dude that sucks I'm sorry
"Ikrrr I think I have it for the rest of the week"
Shuji: does the other girl have it too?
"Yeah"
Suddenly I hear another voice in the line
???: y/n get offff the phone I'm trying to call Connor
Shuji: who is that?
"Omg Roman! No you were on the phone like all night last night so I couldn't call my friend so I get it right now!"
Roman: dude are you on the phone with a boy?
"Mind your business!"
Roman: whatever
Then Roman finally hangs up.
"Sorry abt that that was my brother"
Shuji: oh it's ok
"So anywa-"
Suddenly my room bursts open.
"Roman wtf get out!"
Roman: did you eat my ice cream?!?
I pick up the phone.
"Uh shuji I gotta go see you at school tomorrow"
Shuji: oh ok bye
I hang up the phone.
Roman: did you eat my ice cream yes or no?!?
"Uhh no like why don't you blame Alaya or Zaiya ever" I say rolling my eyes
"Crap It could of even been dad"
Roman: if I find out it was you your dead
He says pointing at me as he walks out of my room. I roll my eyes and then try to go back asleep soon I doze off.
