Clueless

Phase 1

Today I woke up kinda excited. I got up and threw on a simple outfit.

I run downstairs and made some toast with jelly cuz my dad had to leave for work super early.
I sit at the table next to Alaya.
Alaya: so what's phase 1 of the plan
She whispers to me.
"I'm gonna explain everything to Elijah and see if he's up to it and then from there we can start the rest"
I whisper back. Alaya nods. As we're eating we hear a honk outside we grab our stuff and run out to Kathy's car. As I'm abt to open the door Alaya taps me on the shoulder and gives me a thumbs up. I nod and get in the car. The car ride there was quick like usual we get out and i immediately start scanning for Elijah. So does Alaya she notices him and points at him. Then I start walking over to talk to him. He's sitting under a tree messing with his skate board.
"Hey Elijah!"
Elijah: hey y/n what's up
He says smiling.
I sit down next to him.
"Ok this might sound weird but can you help me with something?"
Elijah: uh sure with what tho?
"Ok so basically yk my friend shuji right my sister swears up and down he likes me but I don't think so and I was wondering if you would be willing to fake date me so we could see if he does"
Elijah scrunches his face confused but then a little smile forms on his face. He chuckles a little bit.
Elijah: i mean sure why not
He says shrugging. I get a big smile on my face.
"Omg thank you so much"
Can I call you later tonight so we can talk abt the "plan" I say making air quotes with my fingers.
Elijah: yeah sure so we're not fake dating today then?
"No starting tomorrow"
Elijah: ok got it
Just then the bell rings we both get up and as I'm walking to class somebody walks up next to me.
Shuji: yo what's up y/n you having a better day today?
"Yes I am"
I say smiling
Shuji: good to hear
He says smiling back.
We walk into the classroom and go and sit in our usual seats.

(Time skip to get to the fun stuff)

We get home and me and Alaya immediately run to my room.
Alaya: so what did he say???
"He's down he thinks it's funny"
Alaya: omggggg yayyyy
"Let's call him so we can come up with a game plan"
Alaya: ok
I call Elijah and he answers almost immediately.
Elija: hello?
"Hey Elijah it's y/n and I have my little sister with me"
Elijah: oh what's up y/n and y/ns little sister
"Ok so here what I think we should do Alaya tomorrow in the car talk to Anna and Maya abt me getting a boyfriend and stuff and knowing Maya I bet she'll bring it up to me so if it goes how it's supposed to she'll say something about it in the car and when she does I'll do or say something that hints that I do but not say it directly but if she doesn't bring it up you do ok"
Alaya: ok sounds good
She says nodding.
Elijah: then what?
"Well maybe..."
I say stopping to think for a second.
Alaya: how abt when we get to school you get out of the car and go straight to Elijah make sure shuji notices tho
"So we just need to spend a bunch of time together and be flirty and stuff"
Elijah laughs a little bit.
Elijah: ok
"Dinners ready!!!!!!" My dad yells from downstairs.
"We gotta go see you tomorrow!"
Elijah: ok bye see you tomorrow
I hang up and me and Alaya run downstairs.
Dad: what took y'all so long???
"Sorry we were on the phone"
Dad: y'all are always talking in that damn phone
Roman: yeah and the other night y/n was on the phone with a boy
"Roman!"
I say angrily smacking him in the back of his head.
Dad: what did I say about boys y/n!
"He's just my friend it's not even like that!"
I say defensively.
Dad: it better not be like that

After dinner I go upstairs and change into my pajamas.

I lay on my bed for a few minutes then I get up and go to the restroom to get ready for bed. After I brush my teeth and my face I go back into my room and sit at my desk. I start reading my book then before I know it I'm asleep. I wake up the next more sitting at my desk with my head resting on the pages of my book. I sit up and stand up from my desk. My back hurts extra bad this morning from hunched over my desk all night. I get changed then brush my teeth and do my hair.

Once I'm finished getting ready and I go downstairs. I sit down and start eating my breakfast. Alaya taps me on my shoulder and whispers to me.
Alaya: you ready for today?
I smile and nod.

                                   Alayas pov
"Are you ready for today" I say to my sister. She smiles and nods. We hear a honk outside and know it's Kathy we grab our stuff and say bye to my dad brother and sister. We get to the car and i climb in the back and y/n sits up front like usual. Maya and Anna start talking abt boys like always and Ik what I have to do now.
"Omg guys y/ns new boyfriend is like so cute"
I say only loud enough for Anna and Maya to hear
Maya: O.M.G Y/N GOT A BOYFRIEND?!
Anna: omg y/n that's like so great
It worked out perfectly y/n just giggles a little bit and shushes them. I stare into the mirror trying to see shujis reaction. He just scrunches his eyebrows and looks out the window.

                                    Shujis pov

As we're driving to school all I can hear is my sister and her friends giggling and blabbering in the back like usual.
Maya: O.M.G Y/N GOT A BOYFRIEND?!
Maya yells from the back
Anna: omg y/n that's like so great
I figured it wasn't true and Maya is just weird so I was waiting for y/n to deny it but instead she just giggles and playfully shushes them. Wait does she actually have a boyfriend?!?!

Ok guys so I'm not sure how I feel abt this chapter but I hope y'all like it! And I've been trying to keep it consistent with publishing a chapter every day or every other day. Also I hope the chapters are a good length for y'all my rule while writing is always at least 1000 per chapter.
