Avoiding (short chapter)

Y/ns pov:

I wake up to the familiar sound of my alarm clock blasting in my ear. I hit the top of it and let out a long grunt of frustration.

I lay on my back for a few minutes thinking of how much I'm dreading today. This is gonna be a long day of avoiding shuji. I think to myself.

As I sit up a realization hits me. I HAVE TO RIDE WITH HIM TO SCHOOL. "Noooooooooo" I whine throwing myself back on to my bed.

After a few minutes of contemplating life I force myself out of bed.

I take a shower and brush my hair and my teeth. Then I go to my closet to find an outfit. I settle on a pair of baggy light wash jeans with a t shirt with a open jacket over it.

I go and do light makeup and put my hair into two braids topping it off with a plain beanie. I sigh and make my way downstairs.

"Morning" I say dryly to my siblings as they're scattered around the kitchen finding random stuff for breakfast due to my dad having to be at work super early this morning.

"Damn what's up with you" my brother says as he stuffs his face with dry cereal straight from the box.

I roll my eyes in response and put two pieces of bread in the toaster. "You ok?" My sister Zaiya asks me as she gets a Gatorade out of the fridge.

I sigh. "Yeah I'm fine just not feeling it this morning" she frowns and nods. "How come" alaya questions.

"I'll tell you later there's a lottttttt of tea" I say as I get my pieces of toast out. "Ooooo I wanna know the tea" Roman says with his mouth full of cereal still. I just give him a dirty look "to bad cuz your not hearing it"

Small time skip:

As I take the last bite of my toast there's a honk outside. My mood instantly drops "ughhhhhhh" I groan throwing my bag over my shoulder.

I say bye to my brother and sister a walk outside with Alaya to Kathy's mini van. We open the door and my mood gets even worse when I see Sam isn't riding with us this morning so I'll have to sit next to shuji.

"HEYYYYYY Y/NNNN HEYYYYYY ALAYA" Maya and Anna say in sync. "Hiiiiii" I say smiling as I sit down.

The whole car ride I feel shujis eyes on me but I don't even acknowledge him once. As soon as we pull up to the school I get out and spot Andy and Evan. I walk over to them to say hi "hey" I say getting they're attention.

"Yoooo" "what's up" they greet back. "You so you wanna go to the skate park with us later? I wa-" Evan starts but stops when something catches his attention. "Yoooo shuj" I look behind me to see Shuji approaching. Without even saying anything I just roll my eyes a walk away.

"Yo?" "Aye y/n where you going" I hear Andy and Evan say confused as I walk away.

Third person pov meanwhile:

"Why did she just walk off like that?" Andy asks Evan and Shuji. Evan just shrugs just as confused as Shuji let's out a disappointed sigh.

"It's cuz she's mad at me" he explains. "Why" the other two boys question at the same time.

Shuji sighs "well I- umm I'll just tell y'all later" he says sounding ashamed. "Alright dude but we're gonna hold you to that ok" Evan says as he adjusts his backpack.

Just then the bell rings and they all make their way to class. Shuji walks into class and sees y/n sitting where she always does.

GUYS IM SO SORRY ITS BEEN SO LONG AND ALSO SORRY THE CHAPTER IS SO SHORT BUT IVE BEEN RLLY BUSY BUT I JUST THOUGHT I NEEDED TO GET SOMETHING OUT FOR YALL CUZ IVE BEEN NEGLECTING YALL😭 I promise it won't be so long for the next chapter im already working on it and it also won't be so short
