Mistake

Shujis pov:

I've been stressing all day on how I was gonna go about making my move on y/n. It was the end of the day and we were at the front of the school.

Y/n was talking with my sister her sister and Anna and I decided now is the time.

"Y/n can we talk real quick?" I say approaching them. "Yeah sure" she says putting one finger up to the girls signaling it will be fast. I have her follow me to a part with nobody around.

"Y/n I really need to tell this already" I say taking a deep breath. "Ok...what's up?"

Third person pov:

Instead of saying anything shuji finally acted on his urges he placed both of his hands on her shoulders and looked into her eyes. "What are you doing?" Y/n asks confused.

Without saying anything shuji starts to lean in. "Shuji what are doing" as he gets closer she dodges his kiss. "Shuji what are you trying to do you have a girlfriend?!"

Shujis pov:

"Shuji what are you trying to do you have a girlfriend?!" Shit I forgot about that

"No y/n I don't I said that cuz I chickened out from confessing to you" I say ashamed rubbing my forehead. "Huh" she questions confused.

"That day I was going to confess to you but right as I was I chickened out and for some reason that was the first thing I thought of I'm sorry"

"So this whole time you've been lying? Because you had plenty of opportunities to tell the truth"
She says clearly upset.

"I know but I was embarrassed and like I don't know" I say trying to explain myself.

She just makes a disappointed face and walks off. "Y/n wait I'm sorry!!"

Time skip y/ns pov:

As I'm lying in my bed I start to think. I knew I overreacted a little bit but I was truly upset.

To me it felt like this whole time he was lying so I wouldn't try anything. The whole time I liked him but thought he was untouchable he was lying.

As I go deeper into thought and my anger builds I'm snapped out of my thoughts as my phone rings. I pick it up and put it to my ear "hello" I say waiting for a response "hey..." says a familiar shame filled voice.

Shuji. He was the last person I wanted to talk to right now. "Can't talk right now" I say bluntly before hanging up.

I throw myself onto my bad and let out a big sigh. "Y/N GO GET YOUR SISTER" my dad yells from downstairs.

Just then I remember Alayas at Mayas house. "Great now I have to see him" I say to myself as I get up from my bed.

"K be back in a little" I say to my dad as I walk out the front door.

I arrive at Mayas and Shujis house and walk up to the front door. I sigh before knocking.

Please don't be Shuji please don't be shuji

Thankfully when the door opened I was met with the kind smile of Yuki.

"Oh y/n your here for Alaya right?" She asked sweetly. "Yes ma'am" I say with a nod. "Ok ok come on in dear" she says gesturing for me to come in.

"Oh I'm kinda in a rush if you could just let Alaya know that I told her to hurry" I reply with an excuse knowing I just didn't wanna run into Shuji. "Oh no dear it's very cold please come on in I insist!"

I sigh in defeat then smile and nod to her. I step through the door and look towards to living room and see shuji at the computer playing games.

I was planning to sneak away before he noticed but my plan was soon disrupted. "Y/NNNNNN!!!" Maya streaks running towards me with her arms open for a hug. Shuji turns his head hearing my name and we make eye contact.

I quickly break it off and give Maya a hug and then Anna one after. "Ok Alaya let's go dad said to be fast so c'mon" she nods and goes over to slip her shoes on. I say goodbye to Anna Maya and Yuki then quickly rush out of their house.
