day off 2

El's pov:
Max went to home get clothes and something else probably too. Now im alone. I started just watching tv.

Max's pov: I got home and got some clean clothes. After I packed I did Els birthday card. I hope she likes it. Im not the best drawer and my handwriting is messy usually but now I really tried to make perfect text just to El.

Max's pov again: I finished the card. Now I have to buy the present for her. Im gonna buy her the teddybear and few clothes what she have wanted for awhile and a perfume she has been wanting but cant afford. I bought then with all my money. I actually had to steal money from my mom to get the perfume. I hope she wont notice because Lonnie will beat me up. But its for El so its okay. She deserves the best.

Max's pov AGAIN: I know the teddybear is small but El dosent really like big stuffed animals. I dont know why but I have noticed always when we are at my house she asks if she can turn the big stuffed animals away from her. I went home after getting those and put it in a cute box. Shoot I forgot write the text inside the birthday card!! I said to myself. I took the card out and started writing. "Happy birthday to my dearest El. I hope you have the best day ever and i will make sure it will be the best day of your life. I love you so much and You deserve the best. The day I met you I knew you were gonna be really important to me. And I was right. Because I dont love anyone else more than you. I would pick you over anyone I promise. You and only you. So let me ask you, will you be my girlfriend?🫶 love: Max." Dang thats little cringe she will probably laugh. I tought. But decided to keep it still. I taped the card in the teddys hands cutely and that she can take it off easily. i put the perfume and teddybear in my backpack. I tried find El some clothes but I couldnt find any nice ones from the mall. Then it hit me. Always when El is here she wants to use one of my hoodies. She usually even sleeps with it and sometimes takes it home. I always want it back because its my favorite one. But now im giving it to her for her birthday. I first sprayed some of my perfume to it so it would smell like me. Then I went to El's. I knocked on the door. Dont worry El its me, Max! I said when I saw El trying to look carefully from the window who it was. Sorry! El said fastly. Its okay dont worry. I said smiling. Why u took 2 hours to get clothes.. El asked as she raised her eyebrow. I uh.. I took shower too and let my hair dry at mine. Thats why! I said fastly. Oh fuck she knows im lying I tought when she looked at me with suspicious face. Hm alright.. El said. Lets watch tv! I said fastly changing the subject. El just nodded. We watched like 3 hours. Im going to bed probably. El said. Alrightt im coming too thenn!! I said smiling. We changed our pjs. We went to lay on the bed. Btw Max do you know what day is tomorrow?? El asked trying not to sound excited. Yes I knoww!! Tomorrow is saturday! I said playing dumb. Oh yeah! El said with a weak smile. It hurt me to think that she tought I didnt know her birthday. Lets go sleep im tired. El said. Sure! I said as I turned the lights off.
