I know love, because I have felt hate.
I respect others, because I have witnessed humiliation.
I realise what is right, because I have always tried to seek justice.
In a place where commoners are provided justice, I was robbed of it. More feared as a harbinger of bad omens, I continue to be forbidden from the respect I deserve.
Does asking for justice pay for such a heavy price?
Every one acted as a mute spectator at my miseries. I was always accused of playing the victim.
Was I the victim, or was I victimized, due to other's decisions, taken about my life, when they had no right to live it?
Born from the Sacrificial Fire, I let the fire of my passion consummate me. I offered my sufferings into the Fire, just so that it would keep burning.
A spark for justice led to a rebellion, and finally ended in the Greatest War of all times.
But my greatest desire was to leave this spark alive forever in people's hearts, as a remembrance of me and my struggles.
All I just wanted, was to be a just Queen!
And then, they took my Crown.
Was it fair? But then, is life even ever fair... to anyone?
You may see me as the woman who started the Greatest War, or as a character from the Greatest Epic. But, honestly if you think deeply, you will understand that I am just a symbolism of all the women who have suffered in silence all through the millenniums.
Women, who felt that their silence was their greatest feminine quality; a way of silent protest.
And then, here I was, born from the Fire that arouse from the hearts of all the women suffering in pain and agony.
There may be many Duryodhans, but there shall only be one Panchali.
I pledge that none shall have to undergo the suffering I had to bear for the establishment of a righteous world.
Still, I see today, that my role and sacrifice has been long forgotten. Every day a woman lives in fear. Fear of rejection from society, betrayal from dear ones, and above all, she fears that, what if, she too has to suffer as much as I did?
All I can say is, don't douse the Fire within you, keep it alive for it shall drive you to your goals. Every humiliation, every mockery, is just a reason for you to be stronger. Prove them wrong and have your power within yourself. Don't depend on other's will to shape your life. Every suffering is an opportunity to grow; for a diamond was once a chunk of coal that changed under pressure.
Why be glass when you can be an unbreakable diamond?
Shatter the glass ceiling!
Every unfair condition is your powerful situation. Don't doubt yourself and believe yourself the most. Wear your self-respect like an armour, for it shall make you confident of your ability when the whole world doubts you and shuns your respect.
I learnt the hard way, that respect from others, is a superficial thing to ask for; it is gone as soon as your throne is taken away.
But inner self-esteem is the real power. It keeps you alive even when there is no abuse in the dictionary that has not been used for you.
As for me, my self-respect, self-esteem, self-confidence have always been my adornments which helped beautify me; the secrets to being the most beautiful woman in the world!!!
Fire is holy, and this great Fire, if kept burning alive, can destroy the most unwelcome of all sins. It shall soon destroy your pain and lead to your own satisfaction.
For when is creation achieved without destruction?
But the most important lesson, don't play dumb. You may be quiet, but you can't pretend to be blind. For a man who spectates a sin, is as sinned as the sinner himself.
Speak out and have no regrets!

Not even one said a word,
My shrieks were unheard,
When I was dragged down,
In front of all, like a clown. No one came to rescue me,
Yet my pain, everyone could see,
Mocked, teased, bullied by all,
It was my greatest fall. They took my crown,
Amidst hideous faces, glaring with frown,
They didn't spare the palace or the treasure,
Of all atrocities, this was of the highest measure. No, I was wronged in thinking so,
Because they dropped, even farther low,
My precious adornments were carried away,
Still, none of the Wise Men had anything to say.And in the Great Hall,
Only One finally heard my call,
The Lotus-eyed, Blue One,
My forever protector, My shining Sun!Fire, Holy Fire, consummate my pain!
I refuse to take this blame,
Did I really start a war for my selfish needs?
Or was it their karma of their deeds?I know I may not be given respect much,
But I refuse to be disrespected as such,
Justice I only wished to seek,
Yet, they call it vengeance weak.Desires fuel everything, sure enough,
But this path has been quite rough,
No woman ever took this difficult way,
Fearing she would go without her say.My straight-forwardness, a boon or a bane,
My boldness and bravery, completely insane,
But, my self-esteem is here to stay,
Getting better and polished like diamond, every passing day.One can't even recognise in me the Divine,
I am the same One residing at the Holy Shrine,
If every being is His reflection,
of the Creator of all creation,
Then why am I treated as an exception? You worship me at homes,
Or in crescent domes,
Yet, you don't see beyond this illusioned world,
When at me, so many abuses were hurled. In not lifting weapons, I don't lose my power,
No chronicle, no prophecy, no magical shower,
Can provide proof of my beatific splendour,
As it defies all barriers of classes and gender. As the Greatest Charmer of all times,
Brings His flute to his lips and chimes,
Time Herself stops to listen to the musical source,
And yet to teach, He requires no force.Same as Him, being One with Him forever and ever,
I don't need a sword for my existence; no, never,
My beliefs will take me a long way, they said,
After all the world was over and this illusion dead. But now, I will not act dumb,
For this pain has made me feel numb,
And whether I even have to bit my tongue in shame,
I refuse to be a pawn in someone else's game. Thus, I shall stand up and speak out,
And clear all arisen doubt,
These daring words that I have never said,
Have only burnt my tongue, fiery dead.
