The Moon, waxing and waning, as it does,
The Moonlight, telling another cryptic story of us,
As I walk past the glistening mountain peak,
The cold, dewy breeze brushing past my cheek.

Pale by the wind, frozen by the snow,
The Lake seems to have lost it's splendor though,
And as I approach a little closer, another step more,
The memories come back to me, of the days lost before.

The Glaciers frozen, in cold melancholy, yet again,
Of the long lost reverence of rendezvous and pain,
Making my way through the tough terrain,
I prepare myself for the forthcoming boon or bane.

Finally, as I reach the ancient cave,
I hold my breath, and pause to save,
The Holy Cave lies covered in a sheath of sheer cold,
A plane snow glass covering the entrance bold.

I come closer, hoping to take a look inside,
The sages' words, and my memories being the guide,
Time froze for a moment, just as the frozen snow around,
I breathed a sigh of relief, the only warmth of a beseeching sound.

I could only see a reflection bit, when I peeped in,
Maybe someone I had already seen,
And as I laid my hand over the plane sheet,
It came melting down, beside my feet.

I looked up, and saw amongst the shadows within,
Trying to discover the secret cave where I have been,
As I took further steps through the door,
I saw a porcelain portrait of a figurine before.

I came closer and closer to the figure,
And as I was just an inch far, I felt a trigger,
The cold glacier seemed like a erupting volcano of fire,
Bringing back all flashbacks of love, wisdom, truth and desire.
