As Parvati meets Shiva for the first time, He sits there infront of Her, in deep meditation. She waits for Him to open His eyes, and decides to meditate until He comes out of His own meditation. Lord Kamdev is meanwhile assigned the duty of breaking Shiva's meditation, and He strikes His arrows of Love, only to awaken Shiva's third eye.

This is the second part of the saga of ShivShakti Union, the world's first love story!

He was there infront; I was just a step away,
A step forward to my future, and a step back to my past day,
I closed my eyes, trying to take in the moment as it could last,
My breath stood still, my heart beat fast.

I looked towards the source of the shining light,
My heart knew at once, that it was indeed a familiar sight,
As my right foot took a step ahead,
My mind brought back the memories of the past life dead.

Sati, born as the daughter of Daksha, I was,
Expansion of Adishakti, yet I suffered such a loss,
The embodiment of Truth, the epitome of Love,
Descended on the Earth to keep the request of the Gods above.

I remembered my past life, my past folly and my past deed,
Of why I reincarnated in such times of need,
Gave up my life in the sacrificial pyre,
My body had burnt into ashes through Yogic fire.

The destruction that followed, the chaos that ensued hence,
The tales of both offence and defence,
How Kailash was sadly silent again,
And became a deserted land dwindling with pain.

I opened my eyes now, to see,
There He was, seated infront of me,
I bent forward, offered my prayer,
And then sat on my knees over there.

I asked for forgiveness with folded hands,
Trying to remind Him of the forgotten tales, the mystic lands,
He sat as still as stone, in meditation deep,
And seeing no transition, I had begun to weep.

I knew that I couldn't give up; it was now or never,
And I had to complete this saga of forever,
Determined, I decided to meditate infront, in the palace of ice,
And not move until He Himself opened His eyes.

Years passed, centuries faded away,
I was deep in meditation, all night and day,
No food, no hunger could I feel anymore,
Although my body turned cold and my feet sore.

And then, as the God of Love struck an arrow,
I felt it was finally the end of my sorrow,
But on the contrary, it gave rise to a fury deep rage,
Shattering everything around the crystal cage.
