School Life

Sqaishey's POV
Now that all the drama was over, we could take Meadow and the kids home. What a horrible experience it had been! The kids HAD to go to school. They were missing out. Except Lorraine, of course, who was doing eleventh grade stuff and had an IQ higher than Einstein. But still! I couldn't risk it. This time, I objected to send Lee's kids to school. Lizzie was even worse than before, and we didn't really trust Abbie, so we decided to just go as a family alone.

Meadow's POV
We had arrived in our new school. It wasn't like the one in Korea, but I guess it was okay..... I mean, how bad could it be? I thought. Until..... I saw people fighting. I ran over to stop them. "Hey! Get a chill pill people!" I shouted. No idea where I got that sentence from. Everyone was laughing, some stunned, and some even clapped.

"Whoa..... You look familiar. What's your name?" a girl asked. Suddenly, Kayla, Kendy and Zoe popped out from a corner. "Hi guys! I missed you so much!" I whooped excitedly, dashing over there for a big hug. "Us too." Kayla said smilingly. "Oh yeah. Sorry. I'm Meadow Garrett Tianwei." I giggled, looking at their stunned faces. "Er... no offense, but what's that weird name at the back?" she asked. "Oh! My mum is half Chinese half English, so she insisted on giving me a Chinese name." I replied.

"Oh my gosh! You're the daughter of Stampylonghead and Sqaishey Quack? And you have a channel called Feather Fun Time?" she squealed. Everyone turned their attention to me. "Er....." I was deciding on whether I should tell her because I was afraid I would make fake friends. Finally, I decided honesty was the best policy, and blushing, I said,"Yes. I am." "Eeeeeeks! Oh my! I've been a fan of you for such a long time!" she screamed hysterically.

"Hey, what shirt are you wearing?" a boy asked. "I've never seen this one in the Stampy merchandise shop." "Oh yeah, my dad hasn't released it yet. It's a new Wonder Quest shirt." I smirked proudly, feeling quite high. "Riiiiiinngggg!" the bell rang in its loud, noisy tune. We all rushed to class. "Hi everyone. I'm Mrs Bradley. Now please take out your textbooks. We shall do some Math sums." the teacher announced, placing her books on the teacher's desk.

I hated math sums! I slipped my iPod under the table and watched one of my dad's videos. "Hello!" his voice boomed. Oops! I quickly muted it. Mrs Bradley turned around. "Who is it?" she asked. I quickly stuffed it into my bag, but it dropped on the floor. What bad luck! "Mrs Bradley, I did it!" I heard someone scream. She walked over and looked at his name tag. "Hmm..... Jayden Middleton. Okay, I shall confiscate it. I'm calling your parents!" she chided and confiscated MY iPod.

"Er......yeah. I lent it from Meadow. I lied that I wanted to.....er......calculate something with the calculator." he blurted out. I jumped in my seat. He was doing this....for me? "Okay then. Give the iPod back to Meadow. I shall sort things out." a very livid Mrs Bradley replied ominously. Luckily, while the whole thing was over, we had wasted the whole of Math! Yay! I hated Math and Art was the next subject, so I felt like the happiest girl alive.

As I was painting my picture of a rainbow, I made a mental note to thank Jayden for saving me from Mrs Bradley and from Math. As my head was spinning, I accidentally knocked my red paint into the air, and it was going to mess up my painting. Everything was literally happening in slow motion. Oh no! My 'hero' came again. He catched the little brown box in the nick of time and returned it to me.

"Wow, thanks Jayden. Honestly, why are you so nice to me?" I asked. He blushed profusely. He melted like ice cream on a hot summer's day. He was about to open his mouth to say something, but he muttered,"N-Never mind." and walked away. He was acting weird, but helpful, I guess. I continued painting my picture. Without thinking, I painted a boy and a girl, holding hands, kind of looking like Jayden and me.

Dan's POV
I got a call from one of the teachers at ACS school, Jayden's school, telling him about lying to a student, which was my partner in crime, Stampy's daughter Meadow Garrett. Jayden appeared right at the door. Speak of the devil! "Jayden Middleton, what did you just do?" I shouted at him. He looked as frightened as a mouse. "Well.... It was actually Meadow who did it. Please don't tell Uncle Stampy!" he said meekly. He told the whole story to me. I sighed. "But why did you even do it?" I inquired curiously. "I have a....er........I have a crush on Meadow." he admitted.

I smiled. He was such a cutie. I was a taken man, but Meadow was ooooh, so drop dead gorgeous! Her eyes were gleaming and always wearing a bright smile, and she also knew martial arts, so she was the type of girl any sort of man would want. "Fine. I'll let you off. Remember to ask her out!" I laughed, joking. "Thanks Dad! I will. You're the best dad ever!" he whooped, hugging me. "Go for it, little man." I said, high-fiving Jay.

*time skip*

Meadow's POV
It was the end of school! I was jumping up and down excitedly. But, as always, something had to spoil my good mood. The school gang, Jaygles was beating Lorraine up. "You're such a nerd! Serves you right for explaining your long story and holding us back 20 minutes of recess!" the head cackled evilly, and it was none other than Jayden Middleton, the person who had kept saving me. John happened to be passing by.

"No worries Sis! Got it covered." John laughed, and went to act cool in front of the gang girls, Jaylicles, who didn't know him well. "Hi, hot babes.(I'm shivering as I write this!) I'm Jeremy, but you can call me Jedd." he smirked, striking a 'awesome' pose. Apparently, Mum wanted to call Jonathan Jedd at first, so he used that name.

Then, as usual, he slipped and fell on the floor. "Wow, he is like, so uncool." one of the girls chuckled and started to beat him up. I sighed. I fumbled in my bag for something that I could use. I took out a big bottle of pepper. I had borrowed it from Mum to do our experiment today. Luckily, there was a lot of pepper left so I sprinkled it over the Jaygles and Jaylicles.

They all covered their eyes while tripping everywhere. Finally, they collapsed in a heap on the floor, except Jayden and Jayley, the heads of the gang. Jayden saw my angry face and motioned for the rest to stop. After slapping him, I growled,"You are not to bully my sister again!" "Yes, Meadow." he quivered meekly. I gave him a small scowl and stomped off.

"Meadow, wait up!" he shouted, running to block me immediately. "What are you doing here, jerk?" He raised a hand and said,"Do you believe that this can shut you up?" "Hey, I....I'm not afraid if you slap me, I ain't afraid! I can pack a fair good punch. I-" I was rambling on until Jayden pushed my face and pressed our lips together.

"Jayden Middleton, you are disgusting! I am never trusting you again! Ever!" I screamed and ran off, tears filling my eyes. I had never kissed lip-to-lip with Choo Choo, so he had literally stole my first kiss. And I didn't even like Mr Jerk over here.... or did I? That thought was erased from my mind. No way I could have liked he after what he just did.

A good run to home instead of taking the school bus would do me good. Right about now, I was starting to have doubts. Did I really like the guy who let me down?

I didn't.

Wait..... am I just lying to myself?
