Someone Worthy........

Meadow's POV
It was 7 'o clock. Time for my date with Jayden. I hoped this would turn out alright. Gosh... I was a nervous wreck."Mum, I'm going on a date," I said. "Tell Dad I won't be home in time to upload the Wonder Quest video with him." After reminding her, I grabbed my baby blue sling bag and went to the same mall near my school.

I saw Jayden at the movie theatre. "Boo!" I shouted, scaring the life out of him. "Ah! Meadow! You scared me!" he puffed, shocked. "Fancy a old gang leader being afraid of a girl!" I sneered deviously as we paid for the tickets and went in. I heard The Fault In Our Stars was a good show, so I couldn't wait to watch it.

Even though I was chomping down popcorn, it literally seemed as if I had jumped into the picture. The story was about a 16-year old girl called Hazel Lancaster who had cancer, fell in love with someone and embarked on a journey to see their favourite author. Just as we were about to find out the ending, Jayden decided to stuff popcorn in my ears.

Once I noticed that I couldn't hear a single thing, I saw that I had popcorn in my ears as Jayden was sniggering for literally a whole hour. Being the hot-tempered me, I stuffed popcorn in his face, and he poured ice-cold Coke down my shirt. Both of us were laughing so hard, the livid staff had to take us away. Sigh, we couldn't see how it ended.

"It was your silly prank! You shouldn't have stuffed popcorn in my face!" I pouted. "Well, you didn't have to retaliate!" he scoffed. Recalling the incident, both of us were chuckling away. "Let's stop bickering. Where should we eat?" I asked. "Get a quick meal at KFC." he declared and we walked there to order fried chicken(duh) and some fries. After our quick snack, we walked home happily.

Suddenly, Jayden grabbed my hand. I looked at him, gazing into his eyes. He looked at me. Just as we were about to 'have our moment', a gang of boys slapped him. Phew! Luckily I always brought my pepper. I sprayed it on them, but they blocked it with a random umbrella that they had. "We will stop fighting," they smirked,"if you rejoin our gang." "No way!" he shouted, and took them all out one by one. I clapped in delight.

"We're sorry bruh." they quivered timidly. "滚开!" he shouted and they ran off. "You know Mandarin?" I questioned. "We learn dialect in the gang as well." he replied. (fun facts for you guys) "Let's do it again." I crooned and we kissed for about the second time, this time sincerely. "Awww!" I heard some people fake aw. It was my two cheeky siblings! "John! Lorraine! Privacy please!" I shouted but Jayden pulled me back for another.

This was such a romantic night!
