They're Back!

  Sqaishey's POV
  The next day, I heard the doorbell ring. I went to open the door, but John beat me to it. He opened the door, and Meadow was there. "Ding, ding! I hear wedding bells ring-a-ling!" he laughed jokingly, and slapped her on the back. "Meadow! You're finally back! Soooo..... I heard that Mayden is official. Even at the thoughts of getting married!" I squealed.

  "Oh, stop teasing me Mum! Hey, where's Lorraine? And where's Dad? I know he still has chronic heart disease. I do hope he's okay." she asked, looking around to see where they were. "Yeah. Lorraine just has a bit of relationship problems..... Your dad's trying to soothe her in the bedroom." I replied, pointing to the stairs. "I made some freshly baked cookies. You want to try one?" I asked. "Of course!" she shouted and sprinted rapidly to the kitchen. Dan opened the door.

  "Hi Meadow! Good luck on marrying my son. He is such a pest!" he laughed. "Of course, Dan- I mean, yes, Father-in-law." she joked. I was glad that Dan hadn't objected to both of them. He wasn't so sure at first.

  Stampy's POV
  I was consulting Lorraine who was weeping at a corner. "Lorraine, learn to let go." I reminded her. "I can't! I want to, but my heart still loves him!" she wailed, crossing her arms. "It's part and parcel of life. You have to let go." I chided sternly. "I will try." she relented, still teary-eyed. I grabbed a tissue for her. "Just calm your mind, and when you're ready to start another relationship, you must take the plunge." I remarked. "I certainly know that now," she sniffed, and went to do her homework.

  Both of us went down and had the cookies Sqaishey baked for us. Dan was there, and Squid came back, rather doggedly, from running. "This girl," he said, pointing to Nicole,"pulled me up at 5am, at such an early hour, just because she said she had some 'artistic calling' to draw something in the park! But, the painting is looking good." "I couldn't help it! Anyway, here it is. I can hang it up if you like!" Nicole chirped, and took out a painting from her brown bag. We were absolutely spellbound.

  "Okay, that is just amazing! You could really make a fortune out of it." Sqaishey giggled. "Well, I prefer to be down to earth." she laughed. "I just have to have Nugget." We burst out laughing. Squid had a pretty silly nickname. At least Meadow was back. It was a joyful atmosphere today.

But soon, I knew they'd be quite sad.

  Jayley's POV
  I was stuck in jail yesterday. Well, at least yesterday. My whole family had been arrested a year ago for pushing Meadow's father down the building. We were out yesterday, and Beth must be real happy now. She and her family were troublemakers, getting in our way. I knew I wouldn't be happy playing this game with them. And I never would.

  Beth showed up at our door. "Did you see the news, loser?" she taunted, wagging her finger at my mum. "Oh yeah! I tell you, we're gonna ruin that wedding! And I mean it!" she shouted, and slammed the door angrily. She folded her arms and sat on the sofa crossly. My family was a total mess. We were broken financially, my dad, Alex, lost his job cuz we were in jail, and I couldn't continue my education.

But I knew that this was retribution.

  *During Christmas.*
  "Meadow Garrett, please come up on stage to get your certificate." the principal announced. I was wearing my graduation attire. I was going to graduate from high school! And cause I was getting smarter in class and normally got A*, I could actually skip college and go straight to uni! Everyone clapped, cheered and whistled. Among the noise, there were four proud, grinning faces smiling at me; Zoe, Kayla, Kendy and Kylie. I returned it. We were the best of friends and promised to keep in touch.

 
  What really delighted me was, Jayden was coming back from LA tomorrow, and I was so happy to see him again. Dad's sickness was getting better by the day, and Jayley seemed to have repented. Everything was going smoothly. Well, at least for a while. As I stepped down the stage cautiously, Zoe laughed,"Someone's a lucky bunny. You even get to skip Junior College! So.... how was that early proposal? You've had like 3 years of dating, including the parts where he wasn't with you!"

  "I smell sour grapes." I pouted, pooching out my mouth unhappily. "Oh, stop teasing her! Anyway, we're happy for you." Kylie grinned, beaming round the class. "Hey.....where's Jayden? I thought that 1 year later he was supposed to come back!" Kendy scoffed. Suddenly, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around, shocked. It was actually Jayden! "Oh my gosh! I thought you said you were coming tomorrow!" I exclaimed, hugging him excitedly.

  "Surprise!" he replied, returning my hug. "We're getting married tomorrow!" I whooped, holding his hand. "That's great! Eh, the ceremony's over. Gotta go guys!" Kylie and Kayla said, and scooted off. After everyone graduated, it was time for my gap year. I had one year of rest before going to uni. Jayden and I went back home, and lay down on the bed, feeling so tired. "Well? What now? I mean, we have graduated........Other than the wedding and all, we have to start thinking what to do with our lives." I asked.

  "Well, maybe we could be a full time Youtuber! Besides, I have about 39,000,000 subscribers! And you have 8 million subscribers, kind of like your dad! Maybe this could be possible." he suggested. "I have another dream to pursue. I wanna be a writer," I said. "I want to write about Minecraft stories, and make people happy."

"Well then, my dear. Let's pursue our dream together." he said.
