~Chapter 1
"So you kids go to school together? Maybe you can carpool then." Des said.
"Sure.." I mumbled while I finished my breakfast.
"You want a ride?" Harry asked. I nodded my head yes, as I took my last sip of milk. I picked up my plate and glass and set them into the sink. "We should be going then."
I grabbed my bag off the rack it hung on, "See you later mom." I walked out of the house with Harry and got into his car.
"Thanks for the ride," I mumbled, buckling my seatbelt.
"No problem, we're practically family right?" He said, starting to drive.
"I didn't know your dad was dating my mom," I said, breaking the silence we fell into.
"Me neither, I mean I knew he was dating, I just had no idea it was your mum."
"I guess we'll have to get used to seeing each other more."
"Yeah, everyday." Harry said with a smile.
Everyday, we would see each other everyday, pretty much all the time. More time with your crush! Awesome right? It totally would be, if his dad wasn't engaged to your mom. I had to try to get rid of my feelings, but I already knew that was impossible.
"Lost in your thoughts again?" Harry asked.
"Again?" I asked, curiously.
"Like in geometry," he referred to.
"Oh yeah, that was embarrasing." I said and Harry laughed. "Thanks for laughing at my pain."
"Sorry," he said laughing again and I joined him.
Our car ride soon ended as we pulled into the parking lot at our school. I thanked Harry for the ride and told him I'd see him in geometry. I got out and walked down the hall, to my locker and put all my stuff in. While I finally took off my coat and put it in my best friend came up to me.
"Good morning Mia!" She said happily. "I heard you and Harry came to school together?!"
"It's not what you think Sammy." I told her.
"What do you mean? This could mean he likes you!"
"No Sammy, it means we live in the same house so we carpooled." I said shutting my locker.
"What?"
"This weekend my mom's fiance and his son moved in. The son just happened to be Harry."
"Your mom's marrying Harry's dad?!" Sammy asked me, surprised.
"I'm just as surprised as you are. I can't believe this is happening."
"I'm sorry." She said sympathetically.
"Hey Mia," Harry said shyly, walking by.
"Ugh, I wish he wasn't going to be your step-brother! I swear if he wasn't he would totally have a crush on you."
"Well Harry saying hey, is just being a good brother." I told her and we walked to class together.

"Hey," Harry said as I walked into Geometry and sat down next to him.
"Hi," I said letting out a sigh.
"Something wrong?"
"Nothing," I mumbled.
Before Harry could answer Mr.Craig started his lesson... Geometry was much more boring than usual, now that I couldn't really occupy myself by staring at the beautiful Harry.
