~Chapter 24; "I feel affectionate today."

We returned home, but without grandma. She had to stay another night so they could do a few tests, make sure her food and drink levels went back to normal, things like that. It was around 10:30 and Harry and I had school tomorrow. I went upstairs, with Harry following close behind so we could go to bed. Before I entered my bedroom he grabbed my arm, making me turn towards him.

"Are you alright..?" he asked.

I nodded my head. "I'm fine now."

He pulled me into a tight hug, and rubbed my back in tiny circles. "I just wanted to make sure."

"Thanks," I said, against his shoulder.

"Goodnight," he said pulling away from me. I nodded my head and he went towards his room. I entered my own, shutting the door behind me. I padded through my dresser, looking for something simple to wear for bed. I pulled out a pair of spandex and a baggy white t-shirt. I put my hair up in a bed, and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth before I went to sleep.

"You look good in those shorts," Harry said, as I walked past his room. He had his door open all the way, and had just taken his shirt off, since it was still in his hands. I rolled my eyes playfully at him, as I scanned his torso up and down, going back up to meet his eyes. He had that familiar smirk on his face. I wasn't the only one with roaming eyes. 

His eyes connected with mine again, and his cheeks started to blush and his smirk turned into a smile. I started to giggle, as I went into the bathroom. I brushed and flossed my teeth, then used some mouth wash. After I finished I walked back to my room, mumbling 'goodnight' to Harry on the way.

I walked into my room, about to turn off the lights and climb into bed when I spotted my mom on my bed, making me jump.

"Oh my god mom! You scared the crap out of me!" I said, placing my hand to my chest, trying to get my scared heartbeat to go back to normal.

"Sorry honey, I just wanted to let you know that our doctors appointment is tomorrow." she said.

"Tomorrow? But I have school.."

"You're not going tomorrow, you get the day off."

"Oh.." I mumbled. "What time?"

"10 in the morning," she answered. "I just wanted to let you know. Goodnight sweetie." she said, placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Night mom.." I said, as she walked out of my room. I turned off the lights and almost instantly fell asleep.

"Mia, don't you have to get up?" Harry mumbled in my ear, sitting on my bed. I groaned and turned over on my side.

"No.." I mumbled. "Doctors appointment."

"For that breast exam?" Harry asked. I could already hear the perkiness in his voice. I turned towards him, hitting him with the pillow, and sitting up. I nodded my head, rubbing my eyes, trying to wake up.
