POV: Stan Marsh

I was home, in my room which was filled with trophies and ribbons. I lay in my bed staring at the ceiling. He talked to me today. I was so rude. I didn't know what to say. I need to apologize.

"Hey Turd." I turned my head to see Shelly.
"What do you want." I stared at her as she played on her phone. "Mom says dinners ready." "oh."

-Time skip-

We were eating preheated pasta that probably had mold in it.

"So, Stanley, how was your day at the stables?" My mother asked as I looked up from my bowl.

"Oh, uh, there's someone new. But, their good. Like, really good." I started to stress.

"Why that's nice! Are you friends with them?" my mother nodded.

"I don't know. He talked to me once, but it was really awkward. His horses name is Sugar." How did I remember these things? Why do I care? Do I want to be his friend?

"That's a shit name for a horse, huh." My head turned to my father as he spoke with a mouth full of food. My mother smacked the back of his head. "Randy!" She scolded.
"What!! It's true!" He reasoned as my
mother gave him the glare to shut up.

We continued to eat until the door bell rang. "I'll get it"
I pushed my chair out as I look through the window.

"Hey dude!" Kenny burst in with Eric.

"Hey guys, uhm, bad timing.." I look to my mom and she gives me the nod of approval. I rush to put my bowl in the sink and run up the stairs. Kenny and Eric followed behind.

I shut my door quietly and plopped on my bed as Eric and Kenny sat on my floor.

"Wait, why are you guys here?" I looked up and rose my eyebrows.

"I need help with my routine and Eric just wanted to tag along." Kenny sighed.

"Alright, gimme it." I motioned my hands to Kenny as he pulled out his routine plan. Eric sat up and started cracking his neck.

"Ok, so you guys see the newbie? Total fag!" Eric giggled.

"Dude, your just mad he's better than you." Kenny smirked and flicked his forehead.

I looked down at Kennys plan trying to avoid them seeing the look on my face. Go around the green pole..

"Stan?" Eric questioned as my head shot up.

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Your jealous." Kenny said examining me.

"What?! I'm not jealous, that kids not that good. Plus, I'm better and why would I be jealous?! I'm the best at the stable, I mean, Really!! I'm not jealous at all. Not even a li-!"  I rambled trying to come up with an excuse as Eric's wheeze interrupted me.

"Hah! Stan's Jealous!!" He managed to get out in between gasps for air.

But, the truth is i'm not really that jealous. I'm just replacing another feeling I can't figure out with Jealousy. I mean, yes, I'm jealous. But there's something else.

"Whatever guys." I snap at them.

After Eric stopped cackling and Kenny figured out the middle pole doesn't mean turn right, they left and I had my thoughts to myself.

I lay in bed once again except this time it was night and the lights were out. I think of Kyle and Sugar.

Why can't they leave my head. It's fucking annoying! I don't even know him that well! His perfect balance and timing as his ginger curls hit his face as he lands and starts striding again. As he panics when he knocks a pole or when he is asking questions, he fidgets with his thumbs.

HEY! GET OUT OF MY HE-

Ding!

My phone went off making me snap out of it. I reach over to be blinded by my phones brightness.
