- - 3rd Person's POV: - -

After taking a deep breath and regaining control of Cleo's self once more after that traumatic event, he scrubbed and shook off the dirt and small rubbles that stuck on his clothes as well as the dust stains.

While still rubbing off the small parts of dirt, his gaze maintained on the green-haired male who's back is facing him.

Cleo watched as the man only stood there, punching the air and jumping, clearly celebrating on the action he butted in despite of him almost killing someone.

Cleo was obviously unamused by this, placing both of his hands on his hips, he slowly approached the man, his voice getting clearer and audible with each step he took.

"Oh I wish you two were here right now! You should've seen how cool the explosion looked like hah!"

As Cleo kept on sneaking behind the man, something about his voice seemed familiar... Like a person he met from sometime in his life, but he couldn't assume quickly, he needed more proof that he knows who exactly this man was.

A few noises of mumbling and muttering came out from inside the man's ear, he was holding something with just his fingertip, possibly an earpiece but Cleo didn't care about that, what he wanted to know is why did he act so stupidly.

"I don't think the demon was able to take form again, from what I've last seen of it is that it was weakened... I wonder what happened to it?" Said the man with an slightly energetic voice.

Cleo was now standing behind the man, while the other one was unaware of the incoming consequence of his action.

"Okay okay, I'll come home soon, I just have to stop at the nearest bakery, I kinda got hungry on the way here."

Their call ended as the man celebrated once more, complimenting himself for a job "well done".

"Reginald my man! You did one spectacular job today!" He patted himself.

"REGINALD?!" Cleo exclaimed loudly that startled the man, panicking, Cleo's body acted automatically, he lifted his legs in front of the man sending him airborne.

"AHHHHHHH!" screamed the man as he was falling fast, soon, a loud thud disturbed the silence of the area.

He groaned in the pain and ache the landing has dealt on him but was more confused on the person who kicked him.

"OWW!? WHO THE HELL DID THAT?!"

Cleo picked himself up again due to that unwanted action as he let out a deep breath.

He approached the man once more, with one hand on his hip, he watched as the man quickly stood up.

"Hey man! I don't know who you are but you got a lot of nerve kick-" the man stopped in the middle of his sentence when he finally saw the face of the person who attacked him.

Cleo raised a brow and slowly blinked at the dumbfounded man to observe if any memory thwacks his mind to help him remember who he was.

"C-cleo?" The man stuttered in words, he was too shocked and was unsure if this was the same person he grew up in the academy with.

"Same old foolish Reginald." Cleo replied.

Reginald's eyes widened as his smile went from ear to ear.

Reginald: "Cleo! It's been too long best friend! How are you?!"

Reginald held Cleo tightly as he missed his old friend... In fact, he was hugging him too tight.

Cleo: "U...umm... You're hugging me too tight."

Reginald immediately noticed it and let him go, he apologized as he scratched his head out of embarrassment.

Cleo: "I suppose you still linger around the idea of "act first think later"?"

Reginald: "Huh? What do you mean...?"

Cleo didn't respond as he waited for his words to process into his brain...

..........

........

.....

Reginald: "OHH! WAS THAT WHY YOU KICKED ME?! OH MAN I'M REALLY SORRY CLEO! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE THERE PLEASE FORGIVE ME!"

The huge man kneeled before Cleo and clasped his hand, begging for forgiveness.

Cleo: "Whatever, forget about it, it's in the past."

Cleo crossed his arms and rolled his eyes, Reginald stood up as he trapped Cleo again with his massive hug.

Reginald: "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"

Cleo wanted to push him away but Reginald's embrace was a feeling that he didn't want to disappear...

A blush formed on his face.

When Reginald broke the hug, he instantly saw Cleo's face become red which formed a smirk on his face.

Cleo: "What?"

Reginald: "Aww... you're blushing"

Cleo: "No I'm not!"

Reginald: "Whatever you say best friend."

Reginald winked at him.

Cleo groaned in annoyance.

Cleo: "Whatever, I'm not putting up myself with this schtick."

Reginald: "Wait wait! Okay I'm sorry, I won't pick on you again."

Reginald held his hand to keep Cleo from leaving him.

Cleo exhaled as he gave Reginald the upper hand, a small yes came out of the bigger man's mouth.

"Oh what have I put myself into this time?"
