When the two siblings were done organizing the bags that they've used to carry all of their stuff, Alex decided to take care of the meal that they'll be having for lunch, Cleo volunteered to help but Alex insisted for his younger brother to simply enjoy the day.

Seeing how persistent Alex was, Cleo took his word for it and made sure that this occasion is worth the trouble and journey.

After slipping into something a bit more comfortable and fitting for their sibling event, Alex fired up the grill, taking out the foods that he was about to cook, he had noticed that Cleo was only gazing upon the ocean's horizon.

He approached him as he gave him a little tap.

Alex: "Hey little bro'! What's up with you? Why haven't you changed your clothes yet? Don't you want to go and take a dip in the water?"

He asked.

Cleo: "No... Umm... Something's just running on my mind... Not that big of a deal of course."

Alex: "Are you hiding something from me Cleo? Y'know you don't have to do that right?"

Alex assured Cleo that whatever his problem is, he's there for him to listen and to talk.

Cleo: "I'm just bothered by the fact that there's barely anyone in here... Did everyone leave so early? I don't even see a single person on the water... Is this place even safe?"

With all the questions coming out of Cleo's mouth, Alex couldn't help but to simply let out a soft giggle.

Alex: "Chill out Cleo, you're overthinking about things that aren't true! We're here to relax and not to stress ourselves so why don't you try doing that instead?"

He gave a pat on Cleo's shoulder.

Alex: "And possibly my thoughts on the reason why there's no much people around is because the entrance to this place is damn expensive, which really is kind of a risky idea since it had only opened like... I don't know.. a couple weeks ago perhaps?"

Cleo: "So there's no people around is because they can't afford it?"

Alex: "Yes! So you can stop worrying now and start relaxing little bro'!"

Cleo: "Okay... I'll... I'll relax.."

Alex: "There! Finally! Now if you'll excuse me I have some foods to cook... Just tell me if you want some customization with your meals and I'll happily oblige."

Cleo nodded with a smile.

Alex: "In the meantime, since it looks like you won't be going for a swim anytime soon, why don't you just wander around the place, see if there's anything that can take your mind off of stress."

Cleo: "Sure... I'll do that, thanks Alex"

Alex: "Anytime little bro'! Oh! Before you leave..."

Alex rushed back towards their cottage as he took an umbrella which soon he ran back to Cleo and handed it to him.

Alex: "Don't forget this."

Cleo: "Great, I'll be off now then."

Alex: "Be careful, and don't stray away too far you hear?!"

Cleo: "I won't!"

Cleo replied, letting out a chuckle due to his brother's overprotective side.

All this walking he did with the sand made him really tired, but eventually he came to a stop at what appears to be an abandoned city of long ago outside of the resort.

There were building that seemed to be destroyed back in the past, huge chunks of debris could be seen lying on the ground as some of the buildings were completely destroyed, half of them barely even had remains anymore.

Cleo slowly approached the chunks one by one, letting his fingers glide as he changed direction from one place to another.

Cleo: "These structures seem to be ancient... But what kind of human would be stupid enough to break these..."

A sharp tone rang on his ear as he let out a painful wince.

Cleo: "Ah!"

He held his right ear as he kneeled down.

From that point on, Cleo knew that something was with him hiding amongst the buildings...

And it does not want him there.

In a quick second, Cleo felt a building collapse behind him, turning around immediately, he saw half of a tower coming down on him.

He swiftly made a backflip away from the falling detritus and used his hands to propel and boost him into the air to gain a safe and far distance just when the structure fell completely causing a storm of dust and sand.

When the smoke cleared off, Cleo felt a presence looming behind him, he slid to the side and quickly made a turn just as the figure took its chance to strike him.

Cleo noticed what appears to be an arm coming from the silhouette, he grabbed what he thought he could hold and slammed the creature with all of his might.

It shouted in pain as its body turned into a shadowy smoke which fled to the only edifice it could retreat to.

Cleo: "Come back here!"

Cleo rushed to catch whatever the hell he encountered and found himself now standing in the entrance of the huge building, in its middle stood a broken statue, half of its body was missing, Cleo only assumed that the remains that were surrounding it was the rest of the sculpture.

Slowly walking but still remaining vigilant, Cleo came to a stop in front of the statue.

In a moment's time, the figure appeared again, this time, it revealed it's entire body which left Cleo in a shock.

Cleo: "Y-you?!"

The now formed demon moved in a blink of an eye leaving Cleo no time to react which led to him now on the hands of the creature.

It's spiky claws clasped around his neck as it slowly choked him, Cleo tried to break free but it became even more tighter as he fought it.

He held its wrist with both of his hand as he gave an immense blow using both of his legs and feet, his heels striking the demon's chest as well as its face which caught it off guard.

Cleo took a deep breath as the demon finally let go of him, his anger now multiplied against the beast.

When the demon was still startled by his sudden action, Cleo ran towards it and gave it another strong blast with his legs, ramming them against it.

The demon was thrown back a few distance away from Cleo, it tried to stand up and regain focus when a bunch of unpinned grenades came down closing over the beast in a circle shaped form.

Cleo's eyes widened as he quickly turned around and ran as fast and far away as he could before the explosives went off.

A large explosion erupted which disturbed the unstable edifice causing large debris to fall one by one.

Cleo rushed to the exit not bothering to check back on the beast and jumped on the last second before the entrance was blocked by even more detritus.

He barely made it out alive.

Soon, the largest structure out of all the rest was no more, only a pile of gigantic rubbles and shattered glasses remained.

Cleo turned around and saw a man with green hair, his physique was quite large and it appears as if he's currently celebrating.

"I might need to have a word with that dunce..."
