The sound of an engine from a rushing motorcycle disturbed the peaceful silence above the ground.
Its wheels and entire weight bounced from building to building, swiftly driving off to rooftop and jumping skillfully to another.
Some people below the flying vehicle noticed the sudden noise but was too to even see what was causing it due to the excessive speed it was currently going with.
With one last rev of the motorcycle's handle, the machine jumped off to the last of the building's top and landed behind what seems to be a small store.
The driver parked his vehicle where it could be seen by no one as he took off his helmet and placed it on the handlebar before locking it.
He placed a hand on the back of his neck as he gave it a twist before proceeding off to the shop.
Upon entering, his ears were greeted by a soft chime as his nostrils were flooded by amazing scents of a variety of pastries.
Breads, cakes, donuts, pies, almost any pastry one could think of was available on this very store.
"Ah Reginald! My most valuable customer." A woman behind the counter greeted him with a gleaming attitude.
Reginald: "Vanessa! Good to see you! What have you got to offer me today."
The woman chuckled as she went on and offered plenty of options for the young man to choose.
Reginald took a good look at the display of cakes and breads as he thought really hard on where he's going to spend his well earned money.
Just as the two were having a conversation, another woman exited the  kitchen and walked towards the counter.
"Hey Vanessa, there's some stuff that needs cleaning, would you mind he-" as she was about to finish her sentence, she was cut off as she saw the person Vanessa was talking to.
Vanessa turned around to see who had just called her.
Vanessa: "Sure thing, I'll just serve Reginald's order here, I'll take care of it later."
The other woman ignored her friend's words as she kept staring at the male who's still busy on choosing the perfect treat for himself.
"H-hi Reginald..." The girl muttered as she fixed her hair, a blush forming on her face.
Reginald: "Hmm... Huh?.. Oh, hi "Felicia!"."
He greeted.
"Y-you remembered my name?... That's so sweet of you." She replied happily as her heart started to beat fast.
Vanessa rolled her eyes as she only let out a small laugh and waited for Reginald to make his order.
Vanessa: "So... Got anything on your mind yet?"
Reginald: "Yeah yeah, I'll take uhm... 3 pieces of these eclair right here, 3 of these chocolate-filled donuts, and 2 of these blueberry pie slices.
Vanessa: "Great choices."
Reginald: "Oh wait! I almost forgot, add 4 pieces of croissants in there as well.
Vanessa: "Okay then."
Reginald: "And please take 1 of the croissants out and give it to me, I'll be eating it on my way out of here.
