"AHHHHHHHHH! WAIT I DIDN'T EXPECT US TO GO THIS FAST!!!" The blue haired male exclaimed as he tried his best in keeping a steady grip on the back of the motorcycle.

Reginald: "I TOLD YOU TO HOLD ON TO ME!"

Reginald has once again offered for Cleo to hold on him yet the said male persisted and ignored his suggestion.

The vehicle continued from leaping on buildings to buildings until they arrived at the city border.

Reginald saw a plenty amount of security guarding the said area and couldn't risk the possibility of being caught, especially since he's with Cleo.

With an aggressively twist on the motor's handle, the engine began to extremely rev and both of them were sent flying above the eyes of the securities.

Cleo had no other option but to scream as he felt like his life was on the line, due to his nervousness building up, he lost grip of the backseat and almost fell, fortunately, his reflexes kicked fast and his arms acted on their own making him hug Reginald from behind.

The green-haired male took notice of this but was too focused on where exactly to land.

When the motorcycle returned back down on the ground, Reginald let out a faint chuckle as he saw no other vehicles following the two of them on the side mirrors.

Once their speed had calmed down, so did Cleo, except, the tension did not seem to go down yet, his heart was still beating fast.

As the motorcycle proceeded on, Cleo eventually noticed that they were outside of the city.

Cleo: "Where are we even going?

He asked.

Reginald: "Back to my house."

Cleo: "Your house? Then why did we leave town? Where are you even staying? I'm not even familiar of this area that we're entering."

Reginald: "Just relax your pretty face there, you'll soon find out where I live."

Cleo sighed but he still complied.

After some time, the two proceeded on a road surrounded by many trees, the vehicle began to move slowly as Reginald rose his helmet visor.

Reginald: "Welcome to "Grove Lanes!" ."

Cleo: "You live in a forest?"

Reginald: "Yeah! Cool right?"

Cleo: "Whatever."

The vehicle soon moved at an average speed, Cleo looked at the tall trees all around him, it felt so surreal, he didn't want to admit it, but entering a place of this helped him be at ease.

Reginald: "When I left the academy, I immediately searched for a place to stay, sure Eigenfraug was there, but I can't really afford luxurious houses so I decided to settle for something that makes me feel... At home... And also to help me calm too."

Cleo: "And yet you chose to live in a forest."

Reginald: "There's nothing wrong with living amongst many trees y'know, the breeze here are fresh and it barely gets hot in here with all of the shade around so it's a great place to chill."

Cleo had only hummed.

Reginald: "Plus the atmosphere here are ethereal! You just have to wait for the perfect time and a particular spot too."

Cleo: "While these stories of you may seem interesting, can you tell me where are we going to arrive at your house?"

Reginald: "Oh, my place is just at the very end of this lane, it's pretty hidden too so we won't have to worry about any intruders.

Cleo: "Uh-huh, and these people that you're living with... Who are they exactly?"

Reginald: "I'll introduce you to them later, I think you may have met them too back at the academy but I'm not pretty sure, I just hope that they'll like these pastries that I bought for them..."

After a bit, Reginald took a left turn on the next available road and moved on from there.

With the soft sways of wind trickling on Cleo's skin, it felt like he was being cradled to sleep, his grip on Reginald's waist loosened as he laid his head against the green haired's back.

Reginald felt Cleo moving and took notice on what he might do.

Reginald: "Hey wait! You're not sleeping on me are you? We're almost there Cleo just wait on a little longer, you can continue your sleep in my place.

Cleo: "Huh? What? No no... I'm not sleeping... I just need to lay my head first... I think all those jumps we made earlier made me dizzy.

Reginald: "Well if you need to rest then you can crash in my couch if you'd like."

Cleo: "No... I'm fine, but thanks for the offer."

Reginald hummed in response.

Soon, the motorcycle came to a stop, Cleo got off the vehicle as well as Reginald, he locked his motor in its place to secure it before taking the bag of pastries.

Standing before the blue haired male was a cabin, it wasn't small like he had expected it to be but it wasn't that big, it's more of your average cabin, with a roof nicely built and a porch with 3 chairs next to each other, untouched.

Reginald: "Ta-da!! Here we are! What do you think of the place?"

Cleo: "Hmm, I've seen cabins that looked better than this."

Reginald: "Ouch, you're a meanie!"

Cleo chuckled.

Reginald: "For your information I was the one who built this cabin right here, bet you haven't met an owner who's also the one who built his own home."

Cleo: "I guess I could give you a point for that."

Reginald: "Why thank you."

As the two were having a playful conversation, a feminine voice was suddenly heard coming from the cabin.

Cleo turned his head at the door, the tone of voice reminded him of someone from his past, a memory flashed before him but he didn't have any time to process it...

All he knew was that particular voice...

Was from someone he did not like at all.
