"Love you too."

(Y/N) froze and looked at Atreus. He stood by the door, smiling. (Y/N) smiled back.

She continued walking towards him. "Let's go."

The two left the cabin and went to the Mystic Gateway. Atreus activated it and soon enough, they were back at the treehouse.

"How long do you think this'll take?" (Y/N) asked, regarding Atreus's need to speak with his father and Mimir.

"I dunno." Atreus replied honestly. "I'll try to keep it short, that way we can get your things as soon as possible."

They entered the treehouse. Lunda greeted them.

"Hey there you two!" the dwarf said gleefully. She turned to Atreus. "Clear your mind enough?"

Atreus nodded. "Yeah. Is Father and Mimir here?"

"They never left! Your pa' wanted to stick around to make sure you came back." She pointed her hammer in the direction of Kratos's room. "He's just in there."

"Thanks Lunda." Atreus spoke. He looked at (Y/N). "I'll be back soon."

"Yeah." (Y/N) agreed. Atreus smiled and turned to make his way to Kratos's room.

(Y/N) watched him as he disappeared into the room. She gazed in that direction for a few seconds before Lunda peeped up.

"I know that look." she teased. "You're in love! Congrats!"

(Y/N) turned to Lunda and changed the subject. "I almost have everything you need to make me some new armor."

Lunda sighed, unspokenly agreeing to not talk about love. "Good for you." Her voice was mildly disappointed. (Y/N) could tell Lunda was itching to talk about (Y/N)'s love life, but it just wasn't the time.

"By the way," Lunda continued. "Wanna choose a color for this armor? I can dye the fabric parts of it whatever color you wish! Can't dye metal, that's staying silver."

"Huh. Alright." (Y/N) replied. "(F/C) please."

"You got it!" Lunda grinned before turning to continue working.

(Y/N) walked over to the table when she noticed Freya in the study, tending to a bunch of plants.

"Freya?" she asked as she approached. Freya turned her head.

"(Y/N). Welcome back." She finished trimming a leafy plant before setting the clipper down on a shelf. "Is Atreus okay? You left because he needed to clear his mind."

"He's better now." (Y/N) answered. "We aren't staying long though. He's just here to ask Kratos and Mimir something."

"Oh? Do you know what Atreus must ask them?" Freya asked. She began casting magic on the plants, causing them to bloom into colorful petals.

"No."

"I see. Are you both heading out afterwards?"

"Yes, I have some things at my camp I need to get."

"In that case," Freya walked over to her desk and pulled out two strange looking strings. "Take these." She held them out to (Y/N).

"What are they?" (Y/N) wondered as she took them. The strings glowed a faint grey. They felt as light as feathers.

"I enchanted them with a protection spell." Freya explained. "I know that your camp is in Midgard, and that it is most likely safe there, but still. It never hurts to be careful."

"Thanks Freya." (Y/N) tied a string onto the strap of her satchel. "I'll give the other to Atreus once he's done."

Freya nodded and smiled. "That's what I intended." She turned away to continue caring for her plants.

(Y/N) turned around and saw Atreus leaving Kratos's room, Kratos following behind.

"Atreus." (Y/N) said. Atreus looked at her.

"Hey." he said happily. He walked over to her. "What's that?" he asked, looking at the string on her satchel strap.

"Oh. Freya gave it to me. It's enchanted with a protection spell." (Y/N) reached into her stachel and pulled out the other string. "There's one for you too." She took Atreus's hand and placed it in his.

"That's handy." Atreus pulled out his knife and tied the string to the handle of it.

"Did you get your answers?" (Y/N) nodded in Kratos's direction.

Atreus nodded as he put his knife away. "Yeah."

"Great! Can we go now?"

"Go where?" Kratos interrupted. "You are not leaving on your journey yet, are you?" He walked over to Atreus.

"No, not yet." Atreus replied. "(Y/N) and I are going to her camp to get some supplies."

"I see." Kratos grunted. "Will you back tonight?"

Atreus shrugged. "Maybe?" he answered hesitantly. The 'e' was drawn out a bit. "We'll try."

"Very well." Kratos replied. He began to walk over to the study. "Freya." Kratos began a conversation with the goddess.

Atreus and (Y/N) looked at each other before making their way to the door. As they left the treehouse, (Y/N) spoke.

"What did you need to ask your father?" she asked as they walked towards the Mystic Gateway.

Atreus was silent for a moment. "Last night, I had a weird dream. I think it was a Giant prophecy." They both stood by the gateway to continue talking. "Giant prophecies always have a way of coming true, and in this one, I found a chalice."

"A chalice?" (Y/N) questioned.

"A magical one. It belonged to Odin. There was a fog image of him, telling me that the chalice belongs to me now. Because I was the one who found it?"

"That's strange."

"I know."

"I guess we should be prepared to find a magical chalice." (Y/N) said cheekily. "What makes it magical in the first place?"

"Odin called it the 'Chalice of Lifetime'. That's why I needed to ask my father and Mimir about it. Well, mostly Mimir." Atreus explained. "There was a liquid inside the chalice. Mimir said that whoever drinks it gains a near infinite lifetime, equivalent to a god's life power."

"Does that mean whoever drinks it basically becomes a god?" (Y/N) asked.

"I guess so. Without special powers though." Atreus replied.

(Y/N) hummed in wonder. Atreus activated the gateway and they stepped through it. They were back in the front yard of the cabin.

"Lead the way!" Atreus said, his voice light with hope.
