Whatever was happening wasn't what I planned. I had planned for her to be shocked then I'd pull away and leave her flabbergasted. No. She kissed me back and I was left shocked. Her lips were so soft and holy crap. She gently pulled me closer and I tippy toed higher for better access, ballet was useful for something after all. Just as she was about to deepen the kiss Vic ruined it, okay he didn't ruin it but he cleared his throat. Which ruined it so yes Vic ruined my kiss with Kayla. I awkwardly pulled away and the thoughts flooded in. What if she's just playng with me? But why would she kiss back? A bad joke? What if she's straight? But what straight person kisses a person of the same sex? What if she's curious? What if we date and she decides she's not into girls? What if I'm just an expierment? What if someone set her up and she's actually homophobic? Oh gosh I need to stop thinking or I'm going to get a headache

Abby snorted and went outside as we pulled into a gas station to get fuel and whatever snacks these people wanted at the moment. "Ummm yeah" I blushed and looked down as Kayla laughed at my awkwardness. What if she thinks I'm an idiot? Okay no more thinking, just enjoy the moment. "So skylar, you like girls?" I probably looked like a fish out of water but Kayla just giggled and nodded "obviously" she responded for me. All eyes, excluding Abby's, were on us as we stood there. "Don't y'all need food or something?" I snapped. They filed out leaving Kayla and I alone in silence. "I've never dated a girl" she blurted out, my heart sunk. I sat down and looked at the sleeves of my shirt fiddling with the material. "But that doesn't mean I don't like you! I mean I've liked girls before I've just never really thought about dating one, I usually brushed off any feelings towards someone honestly. And well ummm I really like you and I kinda wanna date you cause you're a really good kisser and well you like the same music as me and I mean you took me away from my house and gave me an adventure. Oh wow this is a really sucky way to ask someone out" I looked up at her with an eyebrow raised. "You're asking me out?" she sat down next to me and nodded meekly. "You're right that is a suckish way to do that" she looked at me and slightly scowled "well sorry I'm not an expert like you! Do you have a better way?!"

And that's when things escalated

I trailed my lips to her collerbone and lightly licked them as I exhaled on them making her shiver "you"

Next I worked my lips slightly downward off her collerbones but not exactly her boobs as I had no idea what she was comfortable with. I soon saw a red mark on the area I had been sucking "go"

I was back on her neck and was slightly more aggressive with the biting earning a moan from her "out"

As I trailed my lips to hers, she placed her dainty hands to my hips and worked them up to my stomache. "with me?"

I slightly bucked my hips against her as she rolled her hips against mine. I was kissing her for a few minutes till we needed air. We continued making out till we heard a high pitched scream. Upset I told Abby to leave us alone only to find Jaime staring at us with wide eyes. I got off Kayla and we both fixed our clothes. I cleared my throat as everyone piled in laughing at Jaime.

"So what did you get to eat?" I asked hungrily "Nothing you're in the mood for" Mike said hinting at what Kayla and I were doing

I saecastically laughed and sat next to Abby who was braiding Jaime's hair. "Sooo where do we go next?" I asked. "Further down South" Mike's replies were oozing with sexual innuendos. Tony snorted and chuckled as he clarified "We're literally going further South, next stop is San Antonio Texas! Our favorite place to play besides San Diego!!!" Vic threw a drumstick at him and told him to settle down. Kayla was about to fall asleep so I carried her to my bunk and laid her down. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and slightly smiled. "Yes I will" she pulled the blanket over her and turned on her side leaving me confused. I was happy she agreed to go out with me but something deep down inside me felt... I don't know, wrong? I shook the thought away and just appreciated the fact that I was dating a beautiful girl.

Heading back to where everyone was I couldn't shake the feeling from earlier, it was physically making me uncomfortable. Sitting next to Jaime he laid his head on my lap as I mindlessly played with his hair. "So what's wrong?" he asked, I shook my head "Nothing....Just tired" I smiled and closed my eyes, still playing with Jaime's hair. Sooner or later I fell asleep on Jaime and let the darkness consume me
