tw for a scene in which felix's drunk a$$ pukes.

of course. yoongi. min yoongi.
he remembered it now:
pjm #38460: in a current relationship with myg, who is reluctantly monogamous.
maybe his reading skills were off, because he'd assumed the reluctancy of monogamy was attributed to jimin, not yoongi. his heart ached for what jimin must've been going through in the relationship. even though felix and changbin weren't in an exclusive relationship (aside from being egg parents, of course. that was a relationship), he couldn't fathom imagining changbin with someone else. that'd be too hurtful.
and yet, jimin had gone at it all wrong. instead of fighting for his man, he'd succumbed to the other man, the homewrecker. that was unacceptable. not only did jimin pretend to continuously thirst over jungkook when he was, for a fact, dying inside, he also managed to convince felix that he was desperately in love with him!
"so..." felix wanted it to be explicitly clarified, for the sake of his own sanity. he waited for jimin's cries to calm down, but when it didn't, he proceeded nonetheless: "you don't like jungkook?"
"no!" jimin cried even louder, wiping his face precariously. "he's not even my type, it's just. i, i, i don't know what to do? i went into my relationship knowing he wanted a third. i haven't changed his mind in 2 years, and i can't back off now."
so now felix didn't have to shake jimin off jungkook. he needed to shake jimin and his boyfriend off jungkook. yep, that didn't complicate things at all.
"can't you do it? can't you talk to him for me?" jimin asked.
felix didn't respond. talk to him who? yoongi? jungkook? felix was one man!
that was it. he would stand his ground. without jimin, he didn't have an obstacle on his way to taehyung and his dad. the coast was clear.
"jimin, i think you should give up." felix stood up, looming over the ouija board and pulling changbin to his feet, too. "you heard your aunt. it isn't meant to be. some things just aren't meant to be."
jimin stopped crying for a minute, taking it in. his hands slowly fell to his lap, gaze wandering through the insides of the cabin. he better be reflecting, better be coming to terms with his situation. even felix knew the path to a good relationship of any kind was communication. and even if he didn't apply it to his own life, this was still true! if at least jimin would just talk to—
bang!
a loud noise coming from the outside, a blaring crack! right near the cabin, startled the three of them. jimin stood to his full height, tears dried from fear.
felix found changbin's hand as voices resounded through the room like they were right next to them, like they were from spirits of the past and—
holy shit!
"this is really haunted!" felix realized, and was already on his feet, bolting off the cabin, hand-in-hand with changbin, who was also running aimlessly.
under his drunkenness and utter fear, felix could barely recognize the red-orange light from the corner of his eye. instead, through his vision, it seemed like the whole forest was on fire, burning red, orange, yellow, and by god, even purple!
once they were away from the cabin and the forest fire, they parted: changbin and felix turned right, and jimin, ugly crying and hands against his eyes, stumbled left. distancing from them, jimin cried into the darkness. "waaaaaaaahhh!!"
