Flashback to earlier in the year before Koji and Kushida were dating properly:

Kushida's Pov:

"Finally she shut up about homework. Today's class was so long!" I got up from my seat but before I was able to exit the class I got surrounded by my friends all of whom wanted to go to the mall and hang out after school but I was really tired today and didn't want to go. Still I don't think I had a choice in the matter as they practically dragged me outside of the classroom and towards the mall.

We entered the mall and made our way towards the famous cafe that me and all my friends come to most of the time.

"Hey hey guys what are you getting today?"

"I feel like drinking something cold."

"Really? But this Cafe has the best lattes!"

"I'll just get what you're getting."

All around me my friends discussed what they wanted to drink but my attention fell on two people sitting at the very end of the Cafe by the window as to not be disrupt by anyone.

My supposed "boyfriend" was there with the girl I hate the most in this school, Horikita Suzune. "Just what is that bitch doing with a guy this gloomy?"

I wondered what could have possible made these two come out to a cafe after school together. They didn't seem like the type to want to be noticed together in public.

"Will you girls excuse me for a second I need to use the restroom."

"Yeah sure Kushida but you didn't tell us what you want to get?"

"I'll just have whatever you pick for me Matsushita and I can just transfer you the points for the cost later is that alright?"

"Yeah that's fine, we'll save you a seat then."

I departed from my friend group towards the restroom which also happened to be in the same direction as where they were sitting.

"Well well this is an unusual place for you two to be hanging around no Ayanokoji?"

"Kushida what do you want?"

"Nothing I was just hoping you weren't cheating on me especially with someone like her. At least set your standards when you cheat on a pretty girl like myself."

"Kushida you still haven't changed."

"Whatever gave you that impression Horikita?"

"The fact that you're still a two faced bitch maybe?"

"Oh ho we're in a public place Horikita so I would like to ask you to mind your language there, no need to talk so roughly."

"What are you after? Can you leave us alone we have more important things to discuss then your pointless jealousy."

I eyed Ayanokoji who just simply watched us in silence not even attempting to utter a word in my defence, quite the "boyfriend" I chose for myself.

"I guess I'll let you get back to whatever you wanted to talk about, for now."

"What does that mean?"

"Oh would you look at that, my friends are waiting on me see you." Before I left I decided to mark my territory and pulled Ayanokoji towards me by his tie and kissed him. The look of discomfort that fell on Horikita's face was exactly what I was hoping for but the blank expression on my boyfriends face even after I kissed him was annoying me. He simply looked at me to ask "Are you finished with your acting?."
