Kushida's Pov:

When he showed me those eyes of his I wasn't scared instead I felt like crying. Just how much has he gone through in his life to have eyes like those? The pain in his eyes broke my heart and made me want to comfort him. I wanted to be next to him and let him know that it's alright but I could see the instant regret in his eyes when he showed his true face. Perhaps it was because he thought I would get scared and call him inhuman or ran away from him but all I wanted was to just let him know that it's alright, that he can be like that with me and I was willing to consume his darkness within my own because... because I love him!!!

"Don't leave Ayanokoji!!!" He left before he could even hear me say this, right now he must feel like a monster, I don't want that, I don't want him to be alone. I have to find and when I do I'll tell him how I really feel.

As I left our safe zone to search for him I heard footsteps behind me, I turned around to see who was running in my direction

THUMP!!!

Back to Ayanokoji's Pov:

I started walking deeper in the jungle about to arrive at my destination. As I was walking I couldn't stop remembering her and what would have happened if I stayed, what answer would I find in her eyes I wonder?

As I arrived I saw an expected scene. Yamauchi was gawking at Kamuro who was only there under "her" order's playing him like a fool. 

"So you really will go on a date with me now right? I gave you all the information I had."

"I would like to say yes but I don't think your friend over their would take it kindly if I did" Kamuro looked towards me with a sense of relief and happiness.

"You! Ayanokoji! What are you doing here?"

"I was Informed by a friend of mine that we have a rat in our class. I knew you were low but I never thought you would be this low Yamauchi. Do you have no problem being used like a tool by others just so they can get what they want? And for what exactly? A date? You really think she willfully agreed to go on a date with a guy who would sell out his own people? I was right this school is mostly filled with pathetic people like you who have no purpose in society, honestly the world would be a better place without people like you."

"You, you! HOW DARE YOU! Son of a bitch you think you're above me, you think you're above us all don't you?"

"As a matter of fact I do, from this earth to the sky I know no equal."

He came charging forward towards me and started throwing lousy punches with no proper form or direction to even land a single hit on me. It seemed like anger had overtaken his mind as he couldn't even hit straight.

"Don't embarrass yourself Yamauchi. I'll give you one final chance to set things right, now when you wake up and your partner asks you what happened tell her you simply passed out and if I ever see you trying to sell out our class again know this, next time it will be a lot worse then you being unconscious." I then proceeded to lightly hit a specific nerve in his body which would knock him unconscious in the simplest way. As I did this Kamuro looked at me with shock and horror in her eyes.

"What exactly are you?"

"Tell Sakayanagi I said thanks and I owe her one" I then picked up Yamauchi and started walking back towards the starting point of the island. I dropped him in front of the teacher and explained to them that I found him passed out and I asked them to call his partner to him in order to deal with this situation.

I then started walking back in to the jungle towards my safe zone as I prepared myself to face Kushida and what exactly I would say to her when I saw her again. As I walked back to our safe zone I saw a trail of blood leading away from the zone. A sense of panic came over me as I saw that trail, sure not? It can't be?

I ran towards where the trail led me and there I found her unconscious with a head injury. I checked her pulse and thankfully she was still breathing normal just injured really bad.

"Kushida, KUSHIDA WAKE UP!" I used a technique I learned to forcefully jolt awaken her body and sure enough she came to her senses.

"Huh Ayanokoji? Uh my head hurts really bad."

"Don't move you have a concussion your condition will get worse if you move around too much. Just tell me who did this." Whoever did this I will make sure to ruin their life forever, I will teach them the meaning of fear and helplessness as they had done to Kushida because no one in this school should cross her path without knowing the consequences behind it.

"I won't because you have that look in your eyes again and if I tell you who it was you will make them suffer but don't you get it?! The more you given in to your emptiness the more you lose your emotions. There will come a time where you will be too far gone to get in touch with your humanity and I don't want that for you because I love you Ayanokoji!" As she said this Kushida passed out again due to the pain of her concussion but she just said that she loves me. I never heard those words before from anyone in my life. I never had two loving parents like most kids, my father viewed me as a tool of his greatness and my mother had me for money, I was born devoid of love. Growing up I had no real friends that cared for me nor a lover, I was always alone and I believed I would continue to be alone until the day my pointless existence became into nothingness. Now I have her someone who loves me for what I am and someone who's willing to absorb the darkness in my heart to free me from my pain. Kikyo Kushida is the most important person to me and I realized that I too was capable of feeling love and giving love to others.

First I'll take her back to the starting line, I checked our bag and sure enough all of our supplies were gone and our card was also gone meaning someone had stolen everything that we had and left us with nothing to survive with.

I picked up Kushida and took her back to the starting line, the teachers were shocked to see her in the state and started to question how I found two unconscious students with an hour of one another. I explained to them that she had been attacked by someone but who that someone is I don't know and then I left her in their care as I headed back in the jungle.

"Now time to hunt you down" despite what Kushida said I wasn't about to let this go especially not when they hurt her.
