(Two days later)

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Morgan Ellis. Some would describe her as a workaholic, some would even describe her as an overachiever." The pastor of Mt. Zion spoke, "I mean the girl worked herself to death...literally."

Phil and his other colleagues laughed amongst themselves.

Everyone gathered to support the Ellis family during this difficult time.

"She passed without ever having the chance to maintain her relationships with her parents, siblings or even her nieces and nephews. She never got the chance to experience being a wife or a mother or even partner at her firm."

Phil and his colleagues began to laugh again.

"GET OUT OF HERE!" Max yelled at Phil.

Phil was shocked to see Max yell at him like that.

"You're sitting here laughing when there's people in here thats really hurt! Get out!" He yelled, "all of you."

No one else said anything in the congregation, they just let Max talk.

"Out! Now!" Max yelled once again.

Phil and his colleagues immediately felt convicted and left the church with shear embarrassment written all over their faces.

Max sat back down in his seat and Olivia was right there to comfort him.

"I know this is a time where emotions are flying high but I want Morgan's life to be an example to everyone here" the pastor spoke, "she left this world with everything and nothing all at the same time."

"She will be dearly missed by all of us here but especially missed by her parents, siblings and her nieces and nephews. Let's all stand for the viewing of the body."

Morgan

I woke up in a panic with wide eyes, searching the room to make sure it was real.

There was an anxious thudding of my heart and each breath I took made me feel like I was suffocating and on top of that my throat was extremely dry.

I stood up and rushed downstairs to the kitchen, nearly making myself trip.

I stumbled to the refrigerator and got me a bottle of cold water and took it to the head.

After chugging the water to the very last drop, I closed the refrigerator and took a deep breath.

Dr. Yuri's nurse told me it's normal for me to feel tightness in my chest while on this medication but they never told me anything about bad dreams and night sweats.

Then being here isn't helping me because there's no A/C and it feels like I'm baking in an oven. That makes it hard for me to fall asleep and when I finally fall asleep, these nightmares make it hard for me to stay asleep.

I took a seat at the island and put my head down on the counter.

"Auntie, you good?" Boogie asked me as he walked in the kitchen and turned the lights on.
