Kiyan Nightfall is the prince of the grand Rosemeyer Kingdom. A nation thriving on trade and culture, it is one of inclusivity of most, if not all, races that decide to come settle down within its borders. Its land is a perfect mix of industry and wildlife, and its claim on the neighboring sea is bustling with life as merchants mill about and go about their business. It is a kingdom in its prime. A golden era.

And yet the prince remains bored.

As heir of the kingdom, he oftentimes comes down from his castle to visit the city folk. He greets the nobles and commoners alike. He is well received by the people and they hope he shall become a great ruler like his parents. Yet the smile on his face hints at a little boredom. And this is because he has never been outside in the open. Out in the lush green wilderness or the fiery deserts. All that is going to change today.

As he heard some of the rumors circling in the tavern about some person or creature lurking in the forest to the west. Some say it is a small mercenary force stalking the kingdom. Others say it's a rare magical beast. A few pass it off as someone merely lost in the wilds. Whatever the case may be, Kiyan found it a good excuse to go outside.

And so he set out to the forest in the west and entered the woods, keeping his eyes peeled for any unusual sight. "I hope those rumors have any sort of value to it." He quietly hoped.

While Kiyan is venturing into the woods. Of course, his right-hand person never leaves him alone which is Bartos. His guard and his assistant which he always stays with him for quite some time and years during his glory "your majesty. Are you sure there are such magical beasts in our land? It would have been the witches doing the work but we can't just assume to believe that"

Kiyan lightly smiled as he went along while looking around. He brushed aside his silvery hair as a leaf landed on his head. "Fear not. If it is indeed a magical beast, then we'll do the right thing and go back to report it. Ah but isn't it refreshing to be out here? This is the first time I've experienced the forest breeze." He remarked.

Bartos looks around the scenery. It was indeed a quite sunny day and good weather to take a stroll. He nods while fixing himself on his horse as he speaks "You are right your highness. Hopefully, the magical beasts will grant the blessing for you to be able to watch our kingdom..how about we go and find a water source...I can hear a water stream somewhere around here

Kiyan chuckled. "Wouldn't that be something? Magical beasts in these parts are few and far between. But we shall see." He nodded as he went with him towards the source of the sound, and before long they could hear the gentle waters of a nearby stream that gleamed with the sunlight reflecting off it. "Here we are."

"we should let the horses rest your majesty" Bartos mounts off from his horse and he leads them to the water so they can drink it. He kneels by the stream and takes a scope with his mouth before he drinks it "It's fresh...maybe this water came from the mountain..how lucky we get to drink this.."

Kiyan got off from his mount as well to let the horses rest and feed off the grass nearby. "Yes, that is true. Although, I wonder where all the animals went. The water is clean and safe to drink and bathe in and it is in the middle of the day." He remarked while glancing around the area as he saw only the two of them plus their horses in the immediate vicinity.

Bartos stands up on his feet and he looks around again "It's true...there are supposed to be animals but even birds are missing...that's strange.." when his horse drinks the water, it suddenly changes behavior as if it can detect danger is coming. But the horse didn't panic instead it started to walk further down "Your majesty I think our horses are catching up on something"

"Stay here with the horses, I'll go investigate it." Kiyan declared as he grabbed his sword and sheath from his mount and fastened it to his side. "I'll be back in a bit.." He carefully made his way past the stream, using his elven senses to detect any faint traces of magic nearby. As a half-elf, he was truly lucky to have been born with all the best qualities an elf may have.

The horse shakes its head a little until it finally stops at an open field. Suddenly a small fluffy white rabbit hops over to the horse. Those horses suddenly bow down on one knee, like bowing and respect to the rabbit. In a second, the rabbit suddenly glows and changes its figure into a woman with long golden hair. She is wearing a white silk dress which is moving and waving like waves through the wind. She didn't know Kiyan was there because she sensed a new animal had just got to her territory "I'm not mad sweety...you came here for a walk did you..how did you find me?" Her soft voice was soothing as she gently stroke the horse with excitement. Not that she is aware that someone's eyes are looking at her with such interest.
