"Your Highness I'm sorry to disturb you...and ..who is this young lady over here? Is she one of your friends?" Bartos asks with curious because he has never seen her before, despite their holding hands so he thought the girl might have some serious relationship with the prince
Kiyan noticed his bodyguard and turned around to face him. "Ah, Bartos. This is my guest, Fay. The one I told you about from the forest. She came for a special visit today, so I'm sorry if I didn't inform you." He informed him. "And yes..we are fairly acquainted. She's just a bit shy." He said.
Fay smiles at Barton and bows her head a little "It's nice to see you, Bartos.. I'm sorry to spook your horses yesterday, it was my mistake...I promise I won't do that again"
Bartos smiles in excitement and he salutes the girl with a nod "Don't mention it. The horses are in good hands and they don't give trouble anymore. I'm sorry to interrupt your Highness but I believe your sister has been missing since morning so maybe we should go out and find her? It's getting noon and I just don't want anything bad to happen to her again"
Kiyan sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Did she at least go with her maid? Where would she even go?"
~~~~~~
Meanwhile, Elena hummed as she entered the west forest confidently with her maid trailing behind her. "Hurry hurry! We're burning daylight!" She exclaimed.
Her maid sighed softly panting a little. She could feel her whole uniform was sweaty but then what could she do but obey the princess "Yes my princess! J..just wait for me!"
Elena waited for a bit then held the maid's hand to help her out. "Aw don't worry! I won't leave you behind. I'm not that mean." She giggled proudly. "It sucks when we keep replacing maids and butlers."~~~~~~
Bartos sighs with a smile and nods his head "What I heard from the butler, they went out after breakfast but somehow I get the feel she is heading to the magical forest...maybe she wants to convince herself about what happened yesterday?"
Kiyan thought for a bit. "I guess..I guess maybe she wanted to see how magical it was for herself. But as far as we know, the only human there is Fay right?" He turned to Fay.
Fay didn't know how to explain that. But she looks kinda worried for Elena in the forest. Alone only with her maid "Actually..if she didn't do anything ridiculous she would be safe..but ..if she tried to temper the forest...I don't think she is going to come out...without any scratches at least?" Fay chuckled awkwardly, she didn't know how to answer because it might put them in panic or worried about the princess
Kiyan thought for a moment. "Either way, she can take care of herself. But she might stir up something dangerous too.." He sighed. "Alright alright, I'll go get her. Want to come with me?" He asked Fay.
Fay smiles and nods her head "Yes I would love to come..maybe if there is anything happens at least I can help her or something..we should go now or it might be too late for us to fix it"
Barton bowed his head as he understood what he needed to do "I prepare the horse for you my prince"
Kiyan nodded to Barton. "Very well. We'll meet you at the castle entrance." He held Fay's hand. "Come on, maybe you can show me around the forest after we save my sister." He chuckled
~~~~~~
Elena made it to the magical water stream where Kiyan had first met Fay. She dipped her finger in the water and swirled it around. "I don't get it. It's just water." She said simply. "Everything here is just..the same. Like a normal forest!"
