Kiyan was in his room studying some magic with his tutor Sir Gael. The mentor was currently teaching him some nature magic and brought in samples of magical leaves, branches, and water that were imported from other lands. "Ah, I almost forgot. Wait here, young prince. I'll go fetch the ancient bone marrow of a necromancer." Sir Gael stood up to leave the room for a bit which left him alone.
Kiyan could only chuckle at that. "And why would that be a part of nature magic?" He wondered to himself while he absentmindedly played around with the mystic water by manipulating it into different shapes, not even noticing the white eagle already nearby.
The eagle tilts its head looking so curious. The eagle then changes into a white mouse and it quickly crawls on the floor. He got a little closer to his chair. It didn't make a sound when it climbed into his chair and stayed very quiet behind him, the mouse sniffed around the place and stood on its 2 feet while looking at him manipulating the elements of the forest. When somebody came back to the room the mouse quickly climbed down but still hanging behind the chair with its tail wrapped on the edge
Kiyan noticed Sir Gael enter the room again holding an old bone marrow that was inside a container. "So that's the bone? What does that have to do with nature, sir?"
"It is very important in our history, young prince." The mentor said and opened the lid for a moment. A part of its lingering black magic escaped and took hold of the mystic water, corrupting it and forcing Kiyan to lose control over it as it splashed down on the table. "Because decay is what corrupts nature's beauty."
"Ohhh.." Kiyan was surprised that such little dark magic was enough to overpower his control over the water and he became interested. "Can it..corrupt even magical forests?"
"Why yes of course. Long ago, a necromancer once corrupted these lands with his magic. He poisoned the waters and brought great drought and erosion to our soils. Eventually, it tried to creep along the lush green forest to our west. Trees rotted and decayed and the necromancer had almost succeeded." He explained.
"But what happened?" Kiyan asked.
"The beasts that guard the forest were able to cleanse its home from the vile magic and overpower the necromancer himself. We have strong guardians here, young prince. We must learn to respect them. For they hold the power and the true secrets of nature magic. Power far beyond our understanding. Be careful should you ever come across one of their own." Sir Gael told the prince.
The mouse climbs on the chair again and quietly it stand on its feet. Looking at the dark magic liquid which is still active although the amount is very low. The mouse is wondering why they have the black magic kept inside the castle. What was it for and why would they need to keep it unless it would bring harm to the forest? It thought that she shouldn't have trusted the prince in the first place anyway. The mouse quickly crawls back down to the floor runs towards the wall and climbs up to the window. It was only a moment when suddenly Sir Gael's black cat caught the mouse in its mouth and it made a loud squeak with the cat growl so loud. Shaking the mouse in its mouth
Sir Gael noticed the ruckus his cat was making and frowned. "Hey! What do you have there? Put down that mouse this instant." He ordered his pet cat.
Kiyan saw it as well and tilted his head. "A mouse? Why would a mouse be here?" He wondered as his mentor made the cat drop the mouse that was in its mouth.
"Bad kitty. Come on, I'll just take you outside so you can play there." Sir Gael frowned as he picked up his cat to carry out of the room. "Pardon me but I'll be back shortly." He told the prince.
Once Sir Gael walks out of the room, Fay instantly transforms into her human form. Leaning against the wall with her both arms scratched and wounded so badly. It's a huge impact compared to her small body with the cat when she got shaken around. Fay was crying but with no sounds, only her voice was holding in as she looked at Kiyan with tears in her eyes "I'm.im sorry...I didn't mean to interrupt your majesty...I...I'm sorry...I didn't know there would be a cat wandering around.."
