One week, seven day was all it took for me to fall for her. And three days for her to love me back, and now we're here; dating.I made my first girlfriend.
And she's the most beautiful woman ever. Not because she's physically attractive, but because she's beautiful on the inside.
The way she talked, the reasons she gave for small things. Her perspective, everything was so exquisite.
And the way she became my inspiration to write my story was something otherworldly to me. That feeling of having someone in your mind when you write something is inexplicable.
Love itself is inexplicable. There's something about it that can never be said, only felt.
I began writing again.
The shyness and the stealing of glances kept flowing for quite some time until the rain stopped.
Jacinth and Yasmine were staring at the sky together, where the clouds slowly parted giving way to the moon and the stars to showcase their decorated home.
Stargazing was something that always meant a lot to Jacinth, he went stargazing with his family, sometimes with his friends too, but those were unserious moments. This was something else, his insides were burning flames while his body was cold due to the rain.
For Yasmine, stargazing was something she'd always dreamt of, with her lover.
And she was having it, but there wasn't acceptance.
The two parted ways bidding each other farewell and to Jacinth's surprise; hugging.
All night long, the pair kept thinking of each others' confessions. Their thoughts were revolving around each other.
The next day passed quickly as they wanted it to, the night fell and the two met.
This time, none of them brought anything. They were there to meet up, empty handed, full hearted.
"Hey," said Yasmine reluctantly.
"Hi, how are you? Did you catch a cold yesterday?" Jacinth worriedly asked.
"I'm all good. How about you?" she responded.
"I'm fine too," he said as they both sat down on the grass.
"About yesterday -" he was about to speak when Yasmine cut him off.
"You confessed. I did too," she said in a low voice, fidgeting her fingers.
"Yes, so what now?" he asked in a similar low tone.
"Typically when people like each other, they date. I don't know how you do it though," she remarked cheekily.
"I'd also like that. I don't know about you though," he responded with the same energy.
And for a good long while they kept staring at each other, both of them thinking of the same thing, yet none made a move.
Out of the blue; Jacinth found boldness in himself and said fuck it in his head and went for it.
His gaze switched between her eyes and her lips, contemplating his momentary confidence.
She maintained eye contact and that boosted him. He leaned closer and closer until their lips met.
Both of them had their eyes closed, holding each other delicately. His hands on her waist and hers in his hair. Their lips moving in sync; heating up in the moment.
Then his lips parted and he drove his tongue into her mouth. She didn't hesitate for a moment and soon they were french kissing the life out of each other. The delicate kiss soon turned into a heated, passionate and slightly rough kiss. But love was evident in every breath.
They parted; panting. As soon as their eyes met, they began laughing.
"You're my girlfriend now," he confidently said.
"Yes," she beamed at him.
And on they went talking for hours, forgetting that they have work to do in the morning.
But when it's about blossoming love; little sacrifices as such are acceptable.
The last line was something that I kept thinking about. That's inevitably true; sacrifices are always there.
I wondered what would be the sacrifice for us?
I went to the park, two days as my girlfriend and Yasmine's already got me head over heels for her.
We exchanged phone numbers yesterday to text, to call and to decide places for our dates.
But at the end, we finalised the park. It was the most peaceful date destination for us. And it was our place, nobody else visited there.
It was an intimate place for us.
That day, she was so ecstatic and so chirpy. She asked me to draw her while she gave some weird poses. I loved her for that. She was always so genuine, so nice, so kind. She'd always leave some pulses for the pigeons, water for the birds, biscuits for the stray dogs ahead of the park. She came there everyday, and she did that everyday.
And that day she helped me catch a pigeon and pet it softly. I was astonished at how easily it came to her. Guess every living being can realise who is a nice person.
I fell for her a little deeper.
And I knew I'd love her even more the next day.
