The last day passed sooner than I had intended it to and we parted ways. But we made a promise to talk to each other everyday. If someday, it's not possible to visit the park, texts or calls would be fine too.
Mad in love.
I was mad in love.
The next day, I visited the park again and as usual, Yasmine was sitting under that old leafless tree. As she saw me, she stood up and when I reached near her, she wrapped her arms around me; hugging me tightly yet softly. Her touch was like that of Midas, it turned me gold.
But not in the materialistic sense of gold. It made my heart and mind golden. She was gold, but even more precious. My life had been deep blue without the realisation ever dawning me, but she painted it golden, she painted me golden.Lost in my lovesick thoughts of her, I sat down beside her.
"Jungkook?" she called me out.
"Yes, my lady?" I responded.
"Why do you love me? You said that you love me but why do you love me? It's been a very few days since we know each other," she expressed while her eyebrows furrowed.
"Do you want the corny answer or the honest answer?" I asked her.
"Honest," she spoke with no hesitation.
"So corny answer it is," I said as a grin spread across my face.
"Huh?" She looked confused.
"Because my honest answer is going to be corny," I explained to her.
For a moment I thought, forming the right words in my head. Expression of your emotions would never be an easy deal; especially when that emotion is as complex as love.
"There's no reason that I love you, I just do," I spoke after a while.
"That's not true, there must be reason," she whined as she said the words.
"It is indeed true, my lady. I love you without any reason. And honestly love without reason is the purest form of it. When you have a reason to love someone, you'd stop loving them once the reason is done with," I momentarily glanced at her between my words, making sure I was speaking the right thing, "but if you love someone unreasonably, you'd always love them."
"Why are you so romantic?" she said as her cheeks turned to a crimson shade.
"Just because." I shrugged.
She playfully hit me and made a deep thinking face soon after.
"I love you without any reason too." She lovingly looked at me and said, "I want to always love you."
I melted then and there.
And I knew I couldn't stop and that I shouldn't stop.
I leaned towards her and pulled her close to me, as close as one could be. My lips met with hers and she smiled. I couldn't see her but I felt her smile. We were kissing harmoniously, our lips as if dancing together but she took me by surprise when she pushed her tongue in my mouth.
She then broke the kiss.
"French kiss?" she asked me.
Consent? Fuck yes.
I didn't respond but just leaned into her again. This time, I held her extremely close to me, my hands traveling her back.
She didn't waste any time either, just went in for the kiss. A french kiss this time. Her tongue galloped into my mouth and I felt extremely hot on the inside. Her left hand ruffled my hair while her right hand hugged me, keeping me close. It was a powerful impact, a strong feeling.
It felt so good that I took my chance too. My tongue entered her mouth and we both were keeping ourselves close to each other. The feeling I earlier felt was nothing close to what I felt now.
It was almost as if her warmth was tending me on the outside for the fire she was igniting within me.
