The next day, I went to the park again. Feeling like a creepy stalker, like a guilty pleasure.
He wasn't there when I reached. I sat down under the same tree where I sat yesterday.
He came.
A little later than me.
The girl was sitting near me, but felt far.
He was walking by her when she said something to him.
I couldn't hear or understand what she said.
They talked for so long. Their expressions kept changing, they changed so much I couldn't interpret them well enough.
I was there just to admire him; which I was successfully doing.
I watched both of them talk and apparently argue. After a while, I saw them shaking hands. Apparently I felt something, which I shrugged off.
I ignored the weird feeling and watched them curiously, trying to make out the situation.
I was drawing them. Not only him, but them. A reminder that I was just delusional.
Then suddenly she snatched his notebook and stared at it.
She was yelling again.
After a little while of arguments, they calmed down; their expressions stoic.
She asked something to which he responded plainly. Then she said something and smiled.
I didn't know how I could make out her smile for she had her back facing me right now.
He smiled too.
And that was the most beautiful smile I had ever seen.
