I woke up the next morning and checked my phone. Usually I get a good morning text from Rodrick, but there was nothing. He must have slept in.

After I sent that text, I got dressed. I decided to keep it more casual today since the weather was a bit rainy and went with a pair of sweatpants and the Slipknot hoodie Rodrick let me borrow the night before. Then, I decided to grab some breakfast and watched my favourite show while I waited for Rodrick to reply.
Hours passed and nothing...

I checked my messages one last time to see if Rodrick texted me. Still nothing and it was already getting dark out. I went back to watching my show.
Then, I hear a knock on my window. I look over to see Rodrick soaking yet outside. I quickly rushed over to open the window and let him in.
"Rodrick! I was so worried about you, I haven't heard from you all day! Here have a towel, you're drenched!" He let out a laugh a gladly accepted my towel.
"I got grounded. Parents took my phone and everything," he said.
"What?! Why?!"
"The party remember? Looks like someone took pictures on a digital camera and left it at the house. They were pissed! Grounded me for two weeks," he sighed. "Sorry I showed up unannounced. I've missed you." He grabs me by the waist and pulls me in for a kiss.
"I've missed you too."
"I was thinking, would you like to go on a date?"
"Like right now?"
"Yeah! There's this sick 24/7 sushi dinner across the street from here and I'm starving. Got an umbrella?"
"Yeah, I do," I giggled. "What about your parents? Won't they get mad that you were out?"
"They would. But they're fast asleep right now so we have all night to be together," he grinned at me.
"I like the sound of that! Let me get changed."
"As long as I get to watch, princess."
I put on a pair of black jeans, a black top from my favourite show, a leather jacket and my docs, while Rodrick admired from a distance. I grabbed my umbrella and we headed out.
He held the umbrella until we got to the restaurant, then opened the door for me. It was an all-you-can-eat place, so we began to mark down everything we wanted. Then our food came and they gave us a pair of chopsticks each.
"Hey, y/n. Check this out!" Rodrick exclaimed and proceeded to use his chopsticks as drumsticks on sushi platter. I couldn't help but laugh.
The dinner was great, and we were totally stuffed by the end. Then, we walked back to my place.
"Want to come inside? Or do you have to get back home before the morning?" I asked him.
"I think I have time to come inside and chill for a bit," he smiled. We walked up to my room and took off our jackets. Rodrick pulls something out of his pocket.
It was a digital camera.
"This was the camera my parents found with the pictures of the party. I was pissed when I saw the pictures... until I saw this one."
He shows me the photo on the camera. It was a picture of the two of us dancing together in the living room.
"I wanted to show you it because I thought you looked so beautiful in it... smiling while your hands were wrapped around me. Your hair is a bit messed up because we just had sex, but you still look gorgeous." I couldn't help but blush.
"Thank you for showing me this. It's a beautiful picture. I had such a great time with you that night. I'm so happy to have you."
"I'm so happy to have you too," he said as he put away the camera and kissed me while using his body weight to push me to the bed.
"Can I have you again tonight?" he said.
"Yes, please."
