Taehyung stared at his wife's picture
She was smiling in that picture
He carseed the picture and kept it aside
He sat on the couch with loud sigh
His eyes were going to close because of sleep but stopped when he heard giggles
He stood from couch and went towards the window and saw Jungkook and Haneul playing
And then he heard jungkook laughing with her, and taehyung paused between hisemails. His fingers still frozen over the lock of the window.
Taehyung turned his head just the slightest towards the window. He could see haneul standing waist-deep in the water, splashing water at jungkook who ducked away from the spray
Jungkook started saying something, but then he was quickly cut off by another spray from haneul ,who only laughed louder as jungkook crashed underneath the water. Jungkook emerged, and taehyung could tell from the way his shoulders shook that jungkook was probably laughing just as hard as haneul .Then jungkook was waving his hands.
Jungkook: Time out
Haneul circled Jungkook with a sneaky smile on herface—the kind taehyung knew always came before she snuck an extra cookie after dinner.
Jungkook's heads wiveled to keep up with haneul, and even though taehyung couldn’t hear him, he just knew that jungkook was trying to negotiate with his daughter.
Jungkook: Hold on
Taehyung could imagine jungkook saying as he lifted his hands.
Jungkook: I said time out
But then haneul spat lake water at jungkook's back as though she was a water fountain, and Taehyung cringed along with jungkook as he started to shout.
Jungkook: Haneul
Taehyung heard jungkook his time, and then there was more laughter
Jungkook: I’m not playing nice anymore
With that, jungkook scooped haneul up and held her above him in the air. Haneul bgiggled and squirmed in jungkook’s grip until he dropped her into the water.
A moment later, jungkook's head resurfaced from the lake, and she kicked up a storm at jungkook's face.
Jungkook instantly lifted his arms to protect himself, but Taehyung knew that there would be nothing to save him from haneup’s revenge.
And when haneul finally tired out, she flopped over on her back and floated with her arms andlegs spread out starfish-style, and eventually,
Jungkook joined her so that their fingertips were justbarely brushing against each other in the water.
Taehyung turned back around to his laptop and opened it
Taehyung:Focus
Taehyung only wrote a few more emails before his attention shifted to the window again.
Haneul was dragging herself out of the lake, squeezing the water out of her hair as she came closer and closer tothe grass. Eventually, she flopped down on the grass and turned around as jungkook stumbled out of the water after her.
Taehyung's breath hitched watching him
Jungkook was wearing white shirt and black shorts
Because of wetness the shirt which was clenched to jungkook's body and his curves were visible
Taehyung noticed that jungkook has a thinner waist , wider hips
Without knowing taehyung's eyes travelled upward where his eyes fell on jungkook's chest he don't know why but he gulped seeing it he then stared at his own hands
Suddenly he got his sense back by hearing his daughters laugh
He saw Jungkook falling again in water because of sliping
He remembered what he did and hurrily closed the window and pulled the curtains on
Taehyung: no no what was I thinking , god why I thought like that
I need to sleep I really need to sleep
He was ashamed of himself jungkook was his wife's brother and the way he stared at him a sec ago was wrong , wrong it was clearly a sin
He tried to focus his mind in laptop but the giggles and laughter of two people were not at all helping him to focus
Taehyung closed the laptop came out from his room only to found Jungkook and Haneul in kitchen.
