Everyone was on the air carriers on their way back down to the ground, somewhere safe. Clint had just gotten on the one Quin was on. He was holding one of the enhanced. Quin got up and went over as he sent him down.

"What happened?" Quin asked as Clint basically collapsed on the closest seat. She looked at the boy, seeing all the blood.

"He's been shot. A lot," Clint said.

Quin crouched down next to Pietro. He was still alive. Barely, but he was alive. He looked at her weakly. "Hey," she said softly. "It's okay. This might hurt, but you'll be okay. I promise."

Pietro gave a very small subtle nod. Her voice soothed him. He trusted her. He didn't know why, but he did. Quin closed her eyes, hovering her hand over his chest and abdomen. She used her metal manipulation power to carefully pull out any of the bullets left in his body. They each slipped out of his body, into her hand. It hurt like she said, but wasn't as bad as it could be. She was careful and tried to have them just go back through and not rip through anything new.

After a moment, all the bullets were out. Quin emptied her hand, dropping them on the ground. "See, not so bad, huh?"

"Mh," Pietro coughed up some blood.

"Shh, it was going to be okay," Quin soothed. "It's all going to be okay."

She moved her hand back over him. She focused and used everything in her that she could to use one of her weaker abilities. Her power to heal. She focused and healed the worst of Pietro's wounds. Then she moved on to the less, yet still possibly life-threatening wounds. Then she passed out. By the time she passed out, the bullet wounds were merely just piercing the skin. Nothing more than a slightly deep scratch. Nothing life-threatening. He still needed medical attention, but he'd live. He'd be in pain for a while, but he'd live.

Quin woke up in her bed. She looked around, rubbing her eyes. She sat up and stretched before sliding out of bed. Her head ached slightly, at the brightness of the light streaming in from outside. She rolled her shoulders back as she walked towards the door. She left her room and went into the elevator.

"Good morning, Miss. Starline," Friday said. "I'm Friday, Mr. Stark's new AI assistant."

"Morning, Friday," Quin said. "Where is everyone?"

"Most of them are in the living area or kitchen," Friday explained. "Would you like me to take you there?"

"Yes, please."

Not long later, Quin walked out of the elevator into the living area. Different Avengers looked over at her as she entered and greeted her as she walked over.

"Is he okay?" Quin asked.

"Yeah," Clint nodded, intimately knowing who she was talking about. "Thanks to you."

"Coffee?" Steve asked, standing up.

Quin nodded a little. The elevator dinged and she looked over to see Bruce walk out of it.

"Ah, Quin," Bruce said. "Good to see you awake. How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine," Quin shrugged. "Got a slight headache, but that's expected."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I don't have much practice with the healing ability, so it takes a lot of energy to use it. Especially enough to save a life. And I always end up with at least a slight headache after," Quin explained.

Bruce nodded.

Steve walked back over from the kitchen. He handed over the large mug of coffee to Quin. "Here," he said.

"Thanks, Steve," Quin said. She took a long sip of the fresh coffee.

"Well, he wants to see you," Bruce said. "He's in med room 3."

Quin nodded. "Okay."

Quin walked over to the elevator and took it to the medical floor. She went to room 3. She hesitated a second before knocking. A moment later, the door opened. The girl enhanced stood there. Wanda, if Quin wasn't mistaken.

"Uh, hi," Quin said.

"You're the girl that saved my brother," Wanda said.

Quin nodded. Wanda stared at her for a second before hugging her.

"Come in," Wanda stepped out of the way letting Quin inside. "Pietro," she turned to her brother. "She's here."

Pietro looked over. He smiled as the girls walked over. "Hey," he said.

"Hey," Quin replied. "How are you feeling?"

"Good. No doubt I'd be dead if it wasn't for you. Thank you, uh..."

"Quin."

"Well, thank you, Quin. Lovely name for a lovely lady," Pietro smirked. "I'm Pietro, and my sister there is Wanda."

"It's good to officially meet the both of you," Quin said. "I have no doubts the both of you will make quite the heroes."

"Is that why you saved me?" Pietro asked.

"You didn't deserve to die, so I saved you," Quin said, putting her hand on his arm. "If I could, there's a lot of people I'd save, but I can't. You were one I could, so I did. I have no doubt that you'll save plenty of lives yourself."

(854 words. This is probably horrible, but I guess that's fine, lol.)
