Peter got back to his apartment that he'd been living in alone for a few weeks at this point. He was all alone and it felt like his whole world had just been destroyed. First he lost Tony. Then he lost his Aunt May. Closely followed by everyone forgetting that he existed.
Peter set down the bag of groceries on his counter, and sighed as he started putting them away. He heard a sound behind him as he put stuff in the fridge. He turned, shooting his web shooters.
"Woah! Peter, it's just me!" Quin said, moving out of the way of the web just before it could hit her.
"Quin?" Peter asked.
"Yeah," Quin said. Peter walked over to her.
"Wait," Peter stopped in his tracks. "You know who I am? No one should know-"
"Hey, you're not getting rid of me that easily, Αράχνη," Quin teased ('Spider' in Greek).
"But how?" Peter asked, tears were prinkling his eyes.
"It's completely, and hard to explain. Especially since I don't entirely know myself."
Peter nodded.
"Come here," Quin opened her arms. Peter moved forwards and the two shared a tight hug. "It's going to be okay, Peter. I'm not gonna leave you, okay?"
"O-okay," Peter sniffed as he started letting the tears flow. His face was snuggled into Quin's shoulder. They stayed like that in silence for a few minutes.
"I'm sorry," Quin said. "I should've checked in on you more after the war."
"No, it's okay," Peter said. "But, uh, where have you been exactly? I remember Strange saying something about how about a month after everything you kinda disappeared. No one knew where you were."
"I, uh, I've been a bit busy with... Olympus stuff..." Quin replied. "And... I've been in the underworld for... a while."
"The underworld!" Peter pulled back to look Quin in the face.
"Yeah," Quin said, scratching the back of her neck. "But that doesn't matter. What matters is that you know that everything will be okay. That you know you're not alone. You'll never be alone. I'm here for you forever, Αράχνη. Okay?"
"Okay," Peter nodded.
