my transfer was successful and it was a couple months shy of ahmad's second birthday. kaiser told me him and na'lia had a baby girl.
i was happy for them, they finally figured shit out.
ahmad was speaking a lot more and getting taller.
he still called me dada and still took naps with me but i didn't mind it
we gifted most of his baby stuff to na'lia and kaiser, they're gonna need it
me and ahmad were in the living room and he was coloring in his little coloring book
"dada wook"
it was a giraffe that he colored
"good job fats, you almost got it all the way in the lines. daddy so proud of you!"
he started giggling then went to find sanyiah.
it was around lunch time and i went to make him lunch
"ahmad! come here real quick!"
his little feet came running.
"what you want for lunch chunky?"
we usually put his lunch options on popsicle sticks and let him pull it
"you ready fats?"
he nodded then i got 3 different containers
the first one was what he was gonna eat like protein and shit
the second one was a fruit or vegetable
and the third one was a drink
i gave him the first container and he pulled chicken nuggets, he pulled blueberries for the second then milk for the third
i put him down then he ran to the couch
he had an ipad but he never really used it that much, he was more of a hands on kid
i made his chicken nuggets and cut up his blueberries then got his cut of milk
"come eat"
he got off the couch and i put him in his high chair and he started eating
"what do you say fats?"
"tank coo" his little voice said
i smiled at him then went to go sit down, i made a sandwich for me and sanyiah.
she was going through ahmad's things so she could give them to kaiser and na'lia's baby girl.
"sanyiah come eat!"
she came downstairs and went in the kitchen to get her sandwich then got ahmad out his high chair and put him in his play pen.
he must've fell asleep while eating
