Akaza sighed as he walked through the forest, the first hints of dawn barely touching the horizon. "I should find somewhere to rest," he muttered, the memory of the hot spring with Douma lingering in his mind. For once, he had actually felt at ease, something he hadn't expected, especially in the company of that insufferable demon.

As he continued walking, the world around him suddenly blurred. When he blinked again, the trees were gone, replaced by the cold, sterile walls of the Infinity Castle. "What...?" he muttered, looking around, confused. His eyes narrowed when he realized where he was—another summoned meeting. Muzan.

Akaza grumbled under his breath, irritated. This is the fourth meeting this month... Muzan was growing paranoid. It was no surprise, though, given the number of demons who had been dying lately. It made sense that their master would be on edge. Still, it didn't make Akaza any less frustrated with the constant interruptions.

He rubbed the back of his neck and sighed again, preparing for another long, exhausting conversation with Muzan.

Akaza glanced around the room, his eyes scanning the familiar faces of the other demons gathered in the center of the Infinity Castle. "Everyone must have been relocated here," he muttered to himself, heading toward the group. When he arrived, his gaze quickly swept over the crowd. Everyone was there—except for Douma. But Akaza knew better than to worry; Douma was most likely somewhere nearby. Still, the thought of his death flickered through his mind, but he quickly shook it off.

With a sigh, Akaza hopped down and joined the others. Some of the demons were goofing off, as usual. But his attention was drawn to Kokushibo, who stood alone, detached from the chaos.

"Kokushibo-dono?" Akaza called, walking toward him.

Kokushibo's eyes opened lazily as he looked down at the pinkette. "What is it?" he sighed, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

Akaza's brow furrowed slightly. "Do you know why we're here?"

Kokushibo shook his head. "I am in the dark about this as much as any of you."

Akaza sighed, the tension easing from his shoulders. "Right... okay, then—"

But before he could finish, a loud, unmistakable voice cut through the air.

"YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!"

The joyful exclamation echoed through the hall, followed by a gleeful declaration: "THIS DAY KEEPS GETTING BETTER!!!"

Akaza froze, his eyes narrowing at the unmistakable voice. Douma. Of course.

Douma aimed for Akaza, but the striped demon effortlessly sidestepped, sending the blonde flying off balance. Douma crashed straight through the floor, his body disappearing into the depths below.

Akaza stood still for a moment, staring at the hole. "...You alright?" he called down, his voice laced with mild annoyance as he peered over the edge. He could already see Douma's sprawled form far below, his body having fallen through five floors.
