While training, they were practicing how to throw knives but Al kept on messing up which makes Eric pissed off so he stood behind Al who kept on trying but no luck came for him

"Well that's pathetic" Eric said

Val looks at him, she was right next Al

"I'm sorry I just don't know how to throw knives" Al's voice was shaking

"Looks like your out of knives" Eric said

Al nodded while looking down

"Well go get it!" He slightly yell

"While their throwing?"

"Everyone stop!" Eric ordered

Everyone stopped what they were doing and look at Eric

"Gk and stand in front of the target" Eric ordered Al

He followed and stand there terrified on what's gonna happen

"Four, come and help me throw knives" Eric said

Four nodded obediently and grab some knives, he stand where Al was standing and aim his hand above to throw the knives

"Stop... Anyone who stands in front of the target doesn't prove anything" It was Tris her voice was slightly shaking

"You got to talk huh Stiff, you take his place" Eric said

Al move out of the way and Tris stood in front of the target

"If I see you flinch your out" Eric said

Four aim his target and threw the knives, it hit the wood near Tris leg

"Oh come on four you can do better than that" Eric said

"You want me to give her a little trim?"

"Yeah just a little right from the top" Eric answer

Val watched as her best friend was being thrown by knives, her breathes hitchs each time four throws a knife at her

Last one, last knife four has he took a breath and throws it just beside Tris ears, Val gasp and was about to approach Tris when a hand stop her

Peter, he held her hand to stop her from making thr situation worse

"If you get in there you'll make the situation worse for you and Tris" He whispered

Will noticed the movement from behind so he looks behind him searching for Val when he spotted her besides peter he was whispering something to Val while holding her hand

Later at dinner, Will, Val and the others were at one of the tables

"Thanks for saving me Tris" Al said in relief

She smiled and nodded "Yeah it was stupid but no problem"

"Seriously what the hell Tris?" Cristina laugh

At night time, Val couldn't sleep yet again so she decided to go where Peter had taken her the other night

"Going somewhere again?" Will had woken up

Val slightly jump but calmed down when she saw it was just Will

"Yeah well I couldn't sleep" She reasoned

"Your gonna meet up again with Hayes?"

What the fuck

"No his asleep" Val looks at Peter's bed but it was empty

Will raised his eyebrows

"Well I don't know where he is okay"

"Well be careful and don't try to flirt with him because his no good" He said and went right back to sleep

That's not true... Right?

Val went up to the building to get some fresh air but she spotted Peter also having some fresh air

"Can't sleep?" She approach him

Peter turn around "No it's just something is on my mind" he leans his back against the wall

"Why you up here?" He ask

"I can't sleep"

"Something is bothering you?"

Val shook her head "No I just couldn't and what about you?"

"What about me?"

"What's going on in your head?"

"Uhh the board? I came in second and Edward was the first" 

"So?"

"It means his the strongest among all of us"

"Strength can't beat the smart ones and your like that, your smart"

Peter chuckled "Not as smart as you"

Val smiled "Well I'm part Erudite"

"Uhh Peter?"

"Yeah?"

"Umm if you ever get a fight between my friends in the mat  can you please go easy on them?"

"Is that a request or an order?"

"It's a favor"

"For what?"

Val laugh "If you want to be a part of my life then do that, don't hurt other people that I love"

"Even if I go hard on them you know they can beat me"

"Peter your the strongest than all of us here, Edward was just number one because he improved but you... I saw how you manage to beat the others in just a second" Val said worriedly

"Hey..." He came close to her "I can't promise you that but I will do it anyway okay?" He cupped her face

Valkyrie nodded silently

"I won't do anything to hurt you" He collide his forehead with hers

"I promise" He whispered

At training they were call upon around the mat to watch a fight

"I'm the weakest one here" Tris said to Cristina

"Then you'll be the most improve" She said

"You got this Tris" Val reassure her

"First jumper and last Peter" Eric said
