Valkyrie's POV
It's been a month since we stayed here with my mother, every night I would wonder the same thing
Where is Peter? Does he know I'm pregnant with his child?
And in 1 month me and Malcolm developed a friendship his like Will but Will was better
I wish he was here, maybe then he would of made our lives better
"Here you go Love" Malcolm came into my room and I was sitting on the balcony rubbing my one month old tummy
He placed the pickle and potatoes on the side table as I slightly clap, I have been craving weird combo of food
Burger and banana etc
"Thank you Malcolm" I smiled as I place the food on my tummy and eat it happily
"It's nice to see a happy pregnant lady" He laughs
He sat on a tool right next to me
"I feel like I want to punch you right now" I sarcastically said as I glared at him for a moment and then continue eating my food
"Do you think Peter knows about you and his baby?" He looked at the view which was the city
"No, he probably doesn't even care" I answered
"What do you mean? Of course he does" He said
"He tried shoot me"
"Oh" He said in a bit of shock
"His gonna try and kill us the moment he finds out I'm baring him a child" I rub my one month old tummy
"He won't because I'll protect you Val" Malcolm said as he sighed after
"We need to go!" Cristina burst in my room and we quickly turn around to see her face all sweaty
"What— what's going on?" I stand up
"It's The dauntless Val, they found us and you need to hide!" She grab my arm and drag me into another room with Malcolm
"What—what about you?" She push me in a small cabinet
"We'll be fine just hide and no matter what you hear or see don't go out until one of us comes and get you" Malcolm said before Cris closed the door abd I was in the dark
Their footsteps faded as they run away and I can hear guns and people screaming, I feel like I'm gonna faint but not because I'm scared but because I'm worried about my baby
I can't let my child grow up around this, full of guns and bad people
No.
I heard someone came in and I quickly covered my mouth with my hand so I won't make noises, I peek through a small gap where I can see the slightest thing ever
But one thing I saw for sure that led me shook
"Peter's shirt" I whispered to myself
