This is my biggest secret on how I can quickly finish a chapter.
Drumrolls!
It is by only writing the dialogues first.
Ganito ang ginagawa ko, lalo na kung tinatamad akong mag-isip at mag-sulat ng whole narrative ng isang chapter within a day or more.
Sinusulat ko muna iyong mga naiisip kong usapan between the characters. Iniisip ko na ako mismo ang character(s) para mas mapahayag ko ang emotions and phrases na gusto kong ibigay.
Kalaunan kasi ay saka ko lang din maiisip kung ano ang setting, actions, and monologues within the chapter---all that while writing the conversations first. Maraming ideas ang biglang sisingit sa utak ko na gusto kong idagdag kahit hindi initially included sa planned storyline. That's why drafts, proofreading, sticking to the planned plot, and reediting are important for a polished chapter.
This works for me since I can be lazy. Plus, writing dialogues is more fun---at least for me.
